Surprise Lunch Day

"Oppa!" You called out, entering the studio where BTS held their practices.
"Ah?! You aren't in school? Why?" Suga said, it was only noon on a Thursday and you should be in class but instead you just showed up at bighit studios.
"Cancelled. School lights go out. Have to fix." You handed him a to go box of food. "I buy lunch for Oppas." You said as the other bod gathered around, gratefully taking the boxes of food you handed them.
"Thank you!" Each member expressed their gratitude before you all took a seat on the dance room's floor and began to eat.
"What happened to the lights?" V asked as he stuffed some noodles into his mouth.
"Ahhh. Box for lights...," you make an explosion sound here, not sure how to describe it with Korean words. "The box needs to be fixing," you weren't very good at conjugating at times and instead of saying "to be fixed" in future tense you ended up saying "to be fixing".
Jimin giggles softly at how cute you were while trying to speak, making you blush. You knew you had messed up and it flustered you. "Ya! Don't laugh!" Namjoon scolded the younger, you had confided in the leader once that you got discouraged a lot at how slowly you felt you learned Korean and when the others laughed it really hurt your feelings, even if they weren't trying to be mean.
"Sorry sorry. Y/N is just very cute". Jimin smiled not noticing how you fidgeted slightly and quietly filled your mouth with more food.
"Will you have school tomorrow?" Suga asked.
"Aniyo. They say. School Monday. Give time to fix." You stirred your noodles around with your chopsticks.
"Do you want to do something tomorrow together? We have no schedules tomorrow so we can do whatever."
"Ahhh. Can we go to shopping? I want new dress and to eat food from cart."
"Ne. We can go to the shopping square. Are you wanting to have mandu and odeng?"
"Ne. Can we go? Fans are very noisy before and can't go." Your sentence made absolutely no sense as you were trying to say that last time Suga said you couldn't all go because the fans would be to overpowering.
Again you became flustered at Jimin's giggles making you look at the floor and bit your lower lip. "Ya! Jimin stop laughing! Your upsetting y/n!" Namjoon pinched jimin's upper arm making the boy Yelp in surprise.
"Oh sorry! I didn't mean to hurt y/n's feelings."
"What are you trying to say?" Namjoon asked you in English.
You mumbled a response, embarrassed now at how poorly you spoke the sentence before "last time Yoongi Oppa said we couldn't go shopping because all the fans would be there and notice us. And would be too much."
RM quickly translated back to your brother before patting your head and reassuring you in English "it's okay Y/N. Learning is hard and you're very good already, lots of practice and you'll get even better."
You nodded softly before Suga spoke "since most fans are in school tomorrow it won't be a worry. And we will have bodyguard-hyungs with us in case."
Nodding you stood up and took the trash from everyone. "I'm going to go back to the dorm. I have homework. I want to do homework." You threw the trash away and grabbed your backpack. Only giving a quick wave to the boys, not taking the time to give hugs and individual 'see you later's'.
"Ah! See jiminie! You hurt her feelings!" RM said when you had left.
"Ne...I'm sorry I didn't know she'd get all upset about it! I just thought it was cute how she speaks!"
"She is very self conscious about her Korean. Try not to laugh at her!"
"But her Korean is so good already!" Jungkook chimed in. "She doesn't need to be self conscious."
Suga shook his head "she didn't tell me that." He sounded a little jealous.
"Don't get mad Hyung." RM said at the look on suga's face.
"Why didn't she come talk to me about being self conscious? I am her Oppa!"
"I'm also fluent in English Hyung. It's easier for her to talk about this when she can come and speak English to express her feelings easier."
"Ahhh! I suppose. I just wish I knew. I would not have let her run off!"
The boys talked a few more minutes about you being upset before going back to practice, they had a few more hours left before they could go back to the dorm.

When you arrived at the dorm you took out your laptop and opened up your courses the boys had bought for you to learn Korean and started to review some of the things you were still messing up on. You hated it when anyone laughed at your speech, you knew jimin didn't mean anything by it, but it just made you feel like you weren't good at Korean, despite all the praise you constantly got from the boys.
Pursing your lips, you started to speak slowly, reading off the words that appeared on your screen, only to grow frustrated when you mispronounced the words, yet again.
All of BTS arrived shortly after you had started your lessons, cutting their practice short to come and see how you were doing. V came into your room first, seeing you curled up in a ball at your computer desk, the Korean lessons shining brightly on your screen.
He went to say something to you until he heard the soft sniffling that could only be crying. "Y/N-ah? Why are you crying?!" He said, quick to come to your side.
You wiped the tears from your eyes hurriedly at the sound of his voice. "Not crying."
V took your face in his hands and thumbed the tears away, "You are crying. What is wrong?"
"I'm stupid." you mumbled, earning a pop to your forehead. "ah!"
"Do not say that. Y/N-ah is not stupid. You are very smart."
"Why do I not learn fast then?"
"You learn very fast. You're Korean is very good, you've only been living with us a year and a half and you are half way to being fluent."
"Why can't I be fluent now?"
"Languages are hard Y/N. Most people can't even hold a conversation after a year of learning. It will take time, don't push yourself so hard."
"But Oppa-"
"No buts, don't get so upset. You're doing great, even if you mess up it's okay, that is part of learning. Are you so sad because of Jimin-Hyung?"
You pulled your face from V's hands and looked at the floor, not answering.
"Y/N-ah." V said sternly.
Raising your eyes to look back at him you finally nodded. "Neh."
Sighing, V stood to his feet and grabbed your hands, "come on."
"Oppa!" You went to whine but you were already being dragged out to the living room.
"Jimin Hyung, you have something to say?" V asked. Jimin was currently rubbing at his left eye, his eyes were puffy as if he too had been crying.
Suga pinched the boy's arm creating a yelp as he jumped to his feet and bowed at the waist. "I'm sorry for upsetting Y/N-ah! I didn't mean it, I was only teasing. Y/N-ah is very good at Korean, you learn very well. Please don't be sad!"
You took a step back at the sudden apology and gave a small bow back. You wanted to tell Jimin you weren't sad, you didn't like seeing him upset, but you were sad. "I know Jimin Oppa. Please no cry. I was just sad I thought I was bad at speaking."
"No! Y/N is very good, very cute is all. Like my English, but your Korean is much better than my English. I-"
You cut him off, giving him a hug and burying your face into his chest "Please shut up."
Everyone laughed when you told the older boy to shut up, his face turning red again as he returned the hug.
"Why don't we all watch a movie now hm?" Jin asked as the two's hug ended and Y/N sat down on the floor, getting pulled into V's lap as he played with your hair.
"Yeah!" Everyone cried in agreement, and soon Harry Potter was on the screen playing.
