I waited til everything quieted down. I've never been so enraged. That monster, the indominus rex, destroyed the only family I've ever had. I can't accept that they are gone. They can't be.
I hurry back the following morning to the scene at which the battle took place. I don't know what happened to Charlie but I have to find my other sisters. I could have sworn I heard Delta's distressed cries last night, but as I chased into the night, it turned out to be just my imagination.
I can smell hints of Echo in the air.
I step gingerly inside one of the buildings and find Echo's body... or something that looks like it. It's black, red, and smells awful. I nudge Echo and her body is crisp and stiff. I pull back my head and let out a pain filled cry. My sister! I lie there with her for a few until I remember I need to find the others.
"Delta!" I call out. No reply.
Tracing our steps we took when we were under the influence of that monster, I try to find Charlie but have no luck. I do this for a few days until I finally accept that they are gone. We would have already found one another if they were alive.
We always used to imagine what it would be like to run around outside the paddocks. We worried that it might have been a big world and we would get lost. I came up with the solution that if that ever happened, we would meet back at our paddock, from where we started. So after waiting there for a few days... I have to accept that my remaining two sisters are gone too.
