PROLOGUE
Message from Harry: "She's here."
I started the car and drove off at an incredible speed. The engine roared as I felt the adrenaline pump through my veins. I wanted my revenge, I wanted her to pay. Harry was already there, outside her house, watching her through the window. We'd planned this out for months, after what she did to us. She was gonna pay. I was making sure of that.
I parked a block away, grabbing the large bag from the trunk and locking the car. I texted Harry to let him know I was here. I pulled my hoodie up before turning the corner, meeting Harry's eyes instantly. His green eyes were burning with anger and he signaled me to come closer.
"When I call her and ask her to come out, you run straight to the park. Ok?"
I nodded and hid behind a dumpster. I watched Harry dial her number. He spoke to her so sweetly, I don't know how he managed to do that considering his intentions. He gave me a thumbs up before hanging up. I ran to the park nearby where Harry would be taking her. She was so easy to fool, that girl. She didn't know what she was getting herself into. But she was about to find out.
I hid inbetween the trees next to the little playground. I waited anxiously for Harry to bring her. After about 5 minutes, I heard a distant laugh. I peeked through the side of the tree and saw Harry leading her to the swings near where I was standing. This was it. I watched her smile and laugh, it made me furious. It made me want to do it right away. End her. End my misery. Best part was, she wouldn't even see it coming.
Harry walked her over to a swing and sat her down. He looked behind himself and caught sight of me, flickering his eyes between the trees. He nodded and turned away again. It was time.
I opened the zipper of the large black bag and pulled the bat out. I held it firmly in my hands, imagining how it would feel when I crushed her head. Her pretty little head. I smiled to myself at the thought of her gone, forever. I ajusted my hoodie and pulled on my plastic gloves. This was no time for mistakes. Even if we got caught, I wouldn't regret it for the world.
I walked towards the swing, taking small quiet steps. My boots dug into the sand of the playground as I approached her. I chuckled quietly as I stood right behind her, breathing heavily. In a few minutes, it was all going to end. I would finally be able to live my life without this bitch making every single day a living hell for me. Harry's curls shone in the moonlight as she pulled a lock of his hair from his eyes.
"I love you Harry." she whispered. "Don't ever leave me."
"Not if you leave first."
I swung the wooden bat at her head, making her fall off the swing. I hit her again, while she was on the ground. I smiled at the blood on the bat, and her laying there unconscious. I was about to hit her again, when Harry stopped me. I looked at him confused. Was he having second thoughts?
"It's my turn." he whispered and we both smiled.
