Auli'i POV
As Josh and I pull up to Ms. Carlotta's I see my dad sitting on the front porch waiting for me to get out of the car but I couldn't move and just sat there "is that your dad" Josh asks "yeah" I say in almost a whisper "thank you" I say while taking my seatbelt off and josh pulls me in and kisses me and then I hear knocking on the window and josh lets the window down "Get out the car and go to your room...NOW!" My Dad yelled as i got out and went upstairs and sat on my bed "What were you thinking...SERIOUSLY what were you thinking!! I️ was worried about you!! You can't just disappear and ride around with some guy all day" My Dad was yelling at me and I wasn't even paying attention all I could think about was Josh "Now go to bed you got school in the morning" once my dad said that i snapped out of my daze "School?" I asked "Yeah what you thought you were just going to come to Atlanta and drop out" He says as he walks out.
The next morning Simone came into my room and woke me up and we started walking to school "I'm so glad i finally have someone to walk with" Simone says "Yeah if only we were in the same grade" I reply then there was a long pause "So who was that guy you were kissing" Simone asks and i look at her and laugh "how do you know about that" I ask "don't change the subject" Simone says with a laugh "he's the guy i almost ended up living with" I say and we finally arrive at school "Nervous" Simone asks "Oh Yeah" I say walking in.
