Jakes .pov. 730am 

I walked towards the lunch room, slightly upset that I couldn't find any of my pack mates to interrogate.

I shoved my hands into my hoodie pockets and scrunched my nose in disgust. "I hate all the smells of cologne and beauty products, it burns my nose." I think to myself.

As I fight to get past the crowd in front of the door I see none other than Axle and Sam,

"hay you nerds, where's Dan?" Sam looks up and smiles at me. I smile back, Axle walks over, "uh hay Jake, Dan's in the P.E room; why?" Axle asks.

"well cuz I Don't know where we're headed to for training today, and it would be nice to know," I say

"OH..well today we're going to go to the grove, you know I quite like it there, it's peaceful! Also, I love the lake, you know once I caught a fish there, an-." I quickly cut Sam's chattering off with my hand, "omg sam, dude you barely, if at all paused during that whole thing," I say chuckling.

"oh ..uh sorry Jake!" Sam says shyly playing with his hands and looking down shamefully.

His face suddenly lit up with terror, I flinched from the sudden movement.

"WAIT !! You won't tell Alfa will you?" he asked clearly very scared, I watched him not answering.

"P..please Jake don't tell Alfa I..I. I'll be quite I..I didn't m-mean to" he said tears welling in his eyes, and I felt bad for him.

You see in our pack omegas are not even supposed to talk to the delta, beta, or alfa unless first having asked or given permission, and well poor sam he's just a chatterbox, Dan hates punishing him but..alas..it must be done, little sam is the favorite of Dan's if it weren't for Dan's instinct he would let Sam do anything.

I sigh, I hate when this happens,"no sam I won't your fine please don't cry" I croon and give him a hug.

7:54am

After the mess with poor Sam, I walked to Jim. First thing I see is a tall very well built chiseled dare I say, sexy man playing basketball with a few other guys, but my full attention id on him my Alfa the man I look up to, and to be honest I have a slight crush on him.

He glances over at me and I blush, he looks at me funny and I immediately snap out of it, stuffing my hands in my pockets I shuffle over to him.

He pauses the game, all the other guys groaning, "Hay Jake" he says in a rough sexy voice that nearly makes me choke, he runs his hand through his hair and smirks, "Uh h..hey Dan I was wondering..uh...where are we going after school today?" I mentally punch myself for stuttering.

"Oh...well the grove, and I was wondering if afterward, you wanna come over to the packed house?" Dan said so very smoothly I had to stuff my hands farther in my pockets so I didn't fidget.

"Yea why not," I said confidently".

I Heir the bell ring for my fists class

"so bye, remember 3:40 front door" Dan says sternly. "Yes, Alfa" and with that, i walk off to my first class. "well god I hope today goes well" I whisper to myself.
