Chapter 4

Sam.

we all stood right in the middle of the grove where there's a nice clear space, we all took off our shirts before we left the truck and I was a little intimidated, I'm quite small.

the first to start was Jake and Josh, both of them turned into beautiful large wolves, Jake was a very majestic black color common in deltas the sun gleamed of his fur, Josh was a vibrant yet still less vibrant brown than dan with a white underbelly and light black brown face he looked so powerful.

Next, the quadruplets changed, they don't exactly look the same but pretty much the same snow white with either black or grey highlights, But in this lighting, it was more of a brown-red tint to there fur. next was me, Tim and Aden.

I don't really get how it happens all I do is release think of how it feels to be a wolf to run to feel my paws instead of hands, I release some deeper part of me and in a split second I morph into a wolf it is not very painful.

 I felt my face elongating and I hunched over as fur sprouted from my body, it's so smooth and effortless it feels good in my soul I know this is my true form as it is with most of the Valen family. I was a vibrant reddish brown I was smaller than most of my pack except Aden. I had a bit of a gold tint to my fur, I often stood in front a mirror admiring myself.

We all stood and watched alfa obediently he looked at each of us, I noticed he lingered for a moment too long on either jack or josh it was a bit odd but I brushed it off.

Dan.

I stood in front of my pack, admiring the men I had chosen I stopped on Jake, he was so beautiful with his gleaming black coat he stood proudly next to Josh I snapped out of it when I realized I was lingering, "OK pack today we will be doing fight practice"I smiled happily I love when we do this, I heard a muffled wine from Sam. 

" don't worry sam ill pair you with Ellie, I think she's more your speed." I chuckled as he perked up Josh and Jake were waging their tails They always love to play fight. 

"alrighty so Josh with Blake, Axle with Tim, Aden with Ricky, And Jake with me!" And with that, I changed and we all got into position. (mind link time!! * (the asterisk is going to be when they finish talking cuz I'm odd like that)

odd pov?

Jake common, come at me think it out* I heard Dan's voice in my head loud and clear. Yes alfa* I heard my pack snarling and fighting all around me, I frilled the hair on my back and lifted my haunches and raised my joules, Dan did the same, for some unknown reason when we fight I'm not afraid of him like I am when he's really angry with us.

I watched as Jake raised his joules at me showing his white sharp teeth so I returned the favor. make your move Jake or I will* his eyes flashed and he suddenly lunged and my side, as I moved to counter his attack but he veered the other direction catching my scruff in his teeth, I snarled and dove my head towards his lower neck causing him to leap back.

I stood in front of Ellie I was always confident in front of her, she had her hair raised, she snarls whined a bit and I stood taller, raised my tail and full on growled at her, she then knew I was not afraid today and she didn't have to take it easy on me *you wanna actually fight today Sam?*

*yea Ellie!*

With that we both surveyed each other's stances, Ellie made the first move she went straight for my front paw, me not being used to fighting just stood there as she clamped her jaw onto my paw just breaking the skin.

I yelped and bit down in her ear, she imidietly let go worried about me *sam I'm sorry did I hurt you?* she started licking my paw. *NO !! Ellie common if I cant fight Dans gonna have to kick me out just let's keep going..until I say stop* a small bit of blood trickling down her ear.

We got back into position and started right off again, this time I made the first move she had exposed the bottom of her neck, I ran then moved under her head she snapped at my scruff but missed, I clamped my jaws down on the loose skin as to not cause any damage.

I pushed her head away from me and dug my claws into the bottom of her jaw.

Jake lunged at my haunches as I went for him he leaped up and dodged my head closing his jaws on the fur right before my hips, I twisted around grabbing the fur next to his shoulder blade biting with equal force.

* hay Jake can you lessen your bite your starting to puncture the skin* he imidietly released the fur he had in his mouth as I did the same.

*OK PACK* I broadcast to the whole pack *let's go get a quick drink and then do some laps around the lake!*

Jakes pov

We started the walk to the lake, it was a small ways from the clearing in the grove and was rather big, it had two sand beaches on either side but everywhere else was rocks, dirt or both.

We all trotted up to the water's edge and began to drink our fill after we were done we sat for a minute or two.

Sams paw had a little blood on it, Ellies ear was dripping, the side of my face was scratched, Hunters back had bite marks all over Axle had a gouge on his hip, Tim had some red on his belly and neck, Aden and Ricky were beat to all hell, Josh was licking his back leg and as for Blake he was panting heavily with a torn lip. We all get beat up after these fights, and we're still not even beginning today's training session.

*ok, you lazy bones lets go, I never said let's go get a drink and lounge* Dan chuckled for all of us to hear, one by one we got up and started the laps around the lake.

I had already completed 4 laps when I got the feeling I was being watched but not in a bad, I glanced behind me to see Dan at a slow run watching me with a smug look, *what are you doing?* I asked *what?!! cant I am behind someone?* *no dan you can not!* And with that, I sped up and left him in the dust but not for long.

Ok WO 1176 WORDS YEA SORRY It's SHORTER THAN I WOULD LIKE IT TO BE!! ps, I'm getting this done at 11 at night o'clock so yea I'm not gonna publish it right away it needs some editing so I know I said 3 and 4 today but ill make it up to u!! I super hope you like this chapter !! soon my precious soon we will get the good stuff.
