0|4: A deal with the devilWiping the cloth over the marble table in the same pattern for the past minutes, I couldn't get that look out of my mind. That look, like he had some sort of mission.
Licking my slightly chapped lips, I sighed at the thought of the warm comfort of my bed. I had the late evening shift once again and as a result I was left to be the last to leave the ice cream palor. I smiled in content when the entire palor was empty, I guess I could leave sharply at 9 p.m. for once.
Turning ariubd, I headed to get my bag. The bell at the entrance of the ice cream palor jingled, signalling the presence of a customer.
" Sorry but we're closed!" I called out, not bothering to look back.
" That's funny cause you didn't seem to close your legs yesterday though it was pass 9pm." The devil himself spoke. Whipping around, I noticed the slight smirk of his lips as he leaned against the counter.
" I was drunk. " I lied through my teeth.
"Stop lying Rapunzel, we both know you declined my offer for a drink yesterday." My hand that was placed on my hips fell in defeat.
Walking around the counter, I left my bag on the it. " What do you want Tristen?" My lips formed a grim line.
" Well...if you really want to know, I would definitely want a lot of things involving you, me and a bed." He winked at me suggestingly, however after noticing the blank expression I returned, he continued.
" I'm offering a deal."
" What if I don't want to make a deal with you?" I fired back almost immediately.
" You're such a puss." He snickered. I grabbed him by the collar unexpectedly, swinging the towel over my shoulder.
" Well, you are what you eat. Guess that makes you a dick." A grin stretched across his lips.
He gently removed my hands off his collar before taking a step back, I swear I was so close to stabbing him.
Now where is that kitchen knife...
" Let's be honest, your life is messed up at this moment, am I right?"
" No, you don't know anything about me!" I tried to keep a confident stand, but ended up sounding like a 5 year old in denial.
" Really? Well, then tell me if I'm wrong...you have a good boy boyfriend as well as an overprotective Brother. Because of that, you have no friends other than his. You cheated on your boyfriend with me, you lost your virginity to me. A complete stranger, might I add. Your brother doesn't know a shit clue about what happened between us, and if he did....say goodbye to your boyfriend, sibling trust and reputation. Am I right?"
