[Willow]
2|7: Bad Boy's Good Girl"Ready?"
"Nope, must we really do this?" He whined like a 5 year old.
"We talked about this Tris, if we don't go through my brother, I'll most likely be hated my entire life and I could foresee how you're gonna die." I squeezed his hand with a knowing smile.
He swallowed hard, his adam's apple bobbing. Ringing on the door, I couldn't deny the nervousness that was creeping up my throat. As if he expected it, my brother opened the door almost too fast.
He scanned us, from our entwined hands to our nervous smiles.
"Zach, I don't care what you think but no matter what Tristen is my boyfriend and not even you will change that because I love him and he's the one for me. I don't give a shit about your bro codes cause that has long been forgotten." I babbled out without taking a breath.Zach kept his blank expression, his tongue poking around his inner cheek.
"I know you don't trust me right now, especially with all things I've done but trust me when I say, that when it comes to her I'll be the best I can ever be and I'll always be by her side, I promise you that."
Tristen took this chance to speak up, his palms becoming sweaty by each passing second.
Zach remained silent.
"God dammit bro, say something!" Tristen cursed out what I intended to say.
Sighing, Zach stuffed his hands in his pocket. "It's approved."
I almost choked on my saliva upon hearing his words.
"W-what?"
"Leave, before I change my mind." He looked over his shoulder ad he spoke in a grumpy tone.
"Why the sudden change, bro?" Tristen asked in suspicion.
"Seeing your sappy confession of love and mistake on the street just now gave me enough to know how much y'all mean to each other." Zach leaned against the door frame with a small smile. I couldn't help myself but embrace him in a warm hug.
"Thank you..." I whispered in his ear as I hugged him.
"Go enjoy your night with him, I'm sure you've been waiting for that." He ruffled my hair, letting his possessive aura fall away.
I leaned my head against Tristen's shoulder after pulling away from my brother.
"Have fun, kiddos" Zach was so near to shutting the door, however, Tristen stopped him.
"Wait Zach!"
I didn't exactly know what Tristen was planning next. My brother raised an eyebrow in question.
" I want to start off on a good note tomorrow with you so I better tell you this last confession, but have a clear mind eh?" Tristen chuckled out nervously.
Zach frowned, looking over at me for a split second.
"You know, on that night you went with Willow to the bar about 3 months ago?" Tristen trailed, and I knew exactly where this was going.
"Yeah, what about it?" Zach smiled at the flashback of that night, but I was so sure that smile wouldn't last any longer.
"Well...I kind of slept with Willow.." his voice became softer and more uncertain.
"WHAT THE HELL?!" Zach yelled out, his eyes glaring up.
I gave Tristen a short smile before mouthing 'run'. And that's how our night ended and how our relationship started, with Tristen's hand in mine, we sprinted down the street from Zach who was chasing after us.
With his laughter escaping his lips, his choclate brown twinkling with mischief and the wind blowing through his hair, I smiled at him.
He was truly flawed, beautifully flawed and I love him.
If I have never met him that night at the bar, this would have never happened. The three months ago 'me' would have never broken the rules as much I did right now. It made me realise that other's opinions and beliefs don't matter that much, as long as you're following your heart.
And my heart just happened to be captured by Tristen West...
My brother's best friend,
absolutely cliche.■■■■■
