[Willow]
2|5: Devil in a good boy disguiseShoving him into an empty classroom, I locked the door behind me. He leaned against the teacher's desk with a smug look painted across his face.
"What part did you play in this entire bullshit?" It was a long time since I sweated which took him aback.
"Feisty." He answered shortly, running his fingers through his auburn hair.
"Just answer me!" I took a few threatening steps forward.
"I did what's best for both of us." He pushed himself off the desk, his playful act vanished.
"Us? There was never us." I folded my arms across my chest, my eyes burning holes in him.
He snickered, looking away in disbelief. "So Tristen is your new bed warmer now?"
"Bed warmer? Are you serious? What do you take me for? A slut? Tristen is my best friend, he means everything to me, he's like my entire w-world." I stuttered out the last word, finally noticing what I had said.
A smile broke on my lips, realising how true it was. However, on the other hand, Flynn had his fists clenched in tight balls. A few moments passed where he just glared at me before he let out a breath.
I found it especially creepy how a calm smile laid on his lips.
"You're such a silly little girl, Willow." He chuckled out, strolling casually around me.
I narrowed my eyes, despising his mockery.
"You're correct, he did bring you to where you are now." He paused in suspense.
"What do you mean?" My tone soften as I frowned in confusion.
" You were never meant to become the president of our school, that's the bitter truth. Without him, you wouldn't have gotten that position." He snickered at the sight of my a jar mouth.
Placing my hands on my hips, my eyes scanned the room.
"H-how? How is that even possible?" I was too stubborn to believe my ex-boyfriend's wordsHe raised an eyebrow, " I was the last to leave school on the day before the results were announced. And I also happened to catch Tristen changing the votes in each of the boxes, transferring the papers from Bethany's box to yours. " he enjoyed the way I squirmed, playing with the hem of my skirt.
" and I gladly took that opportunity to blackmail him." A wicked smile paraded across his lips.
I could feel my blood boiling by each second, thinking of all sorts of horrendous ideas to kill him. Just a glance at him and I could see two red horns on his head, the devil himself.
"You son of a---" he interrupted my curse.
"Oh darling, this is not even the fun part yet. Tristen also happened to forget his phone when rushing to get away from the scene." His evil smile widened.
"So you're the phone that took his phone..." I trailed, catching on with the story.
"Bulls-eye! Afterwards was really simple, I blackmailed him-- if he doesn't stay away from you, Zach and you would know everything. He didn't want you to know that the only reason he stuck by you through the weeks was because he wanted your money to help his drunkard dad who abuses him day and night. Since he's a womanizer, he used it to his own advantage." He placed his hands on my weak shoulders, giving them a small squeeze.
My legs seem fragile all of a sudden, and I couldn't seem to hold myself up.
"But, I guess you both couldn't stand to resist each other and went out last night to god knows where. Just like that, I sent all the messages to Zach. And your dear sweet brother did the dirty job. Now, no one knows anything, the only people getting in trouble will be Tristen and your brother. I'll still be the golden boy, hm?" He smirked, lifting my chin upwards with his finger.
That was all it took for my composure to explode, without second thought I slapped him.
" Why, Flynn? Why go through all this trouble to destroy the lives of all the people I love?? You think the truth could make me stop loving Tristen? You think I'll come back running to you?"
Massaging his cheek slightly, his face grew stern, his lips forming a grim line.
" You're mine, Willow. I warned you the day you broke up with me. Nothing else can make you as happy as you are when you're around me, and I will do everything in my will to make sure of that." His hand wrapped around my wrist, gripping it.
I winced, biting my lip to hold back the scream that was at the top of my tongue.
" You're sick, Flynn! I can never love you like I did and you need to learn to move on. You need to find your happiness, just like I found mine." I swallowed hard, trying to talk some sense into him.
Sighing, his grip loosened.
" Tell me what I have to do to make it up to you.""Nothing will change how I feel about you, the best you can do now is to move on, do that for me. Please." He cracked his knuckles, gazing out of the window.
" You'll find someone that would be perfect for you, Flynn. I'm just not the one."
"Well, how are you so sure, he's the one? Do you realise the things he did to you?" He countered back, leaning against the wall.
" You just know it, Flynn. You'll seem to love that person no matter the number of battle scars he may have. "
He didn't respond, just casted me a disappointed look.
"It's so hard to let go Willow, I had hope for us."
I shook my head, he knew exactly what my answer was. Taking a deep breath, he stepped forward.
"I just have one question, after that I promise to do my best to move on..." He had his eyes on the ceiling, not ready to look in my eyes.
"What's that?" I wasn't sure what to expect.
"Why him?"
