Kiba decided to ignore the black eye thing.
"Kotori, look, Akamaru is harmless. See?" He pet Akamaru on the head making the dog grin.
She hesitates, "will he bite if you hit him?"
Kiba nearly fainted. He'd never got his dog, but others have. Akamaru did bite back, but he didn't want to tell her that, not like she'd hit Akamaru.
He smiled, and gently help her hand. "No," he lies, "maybe," he adds, "yes, but do you wanna try?" He asked.
"Not yet," her answer was immediate. She really didn't want to touch Akamaru after hearing that answer.
Akamaru walked up to her and brushed her leg with his tail. She flinched but didn't move away.
Kiba smiled with a faint blush.
Hey, it's progress.
