Counting Calories.

Aria's POV

I wake up the next morning in my old childhood room with Ezra sleeping next to me. I smile as I feel he's arms wrap tighter around me to ensure I don't fall out of the too small bed for the both of us. I kiss Ezra's arm and gently untangle them from around me. I take my phone off charge and go onto snap chat sending my streaks so no one kills me if I loose them. I then grab a pair of clothes, my hair brush and a towel before walking into the bathroom.

I hang my towel over the rack putting my clothes on the sink. I take my hair out of the ponytail it was in all night and I brush through it carefully, trying to not break the hair. I take off my clothes and stare at myself in the mirror for a couple of minutes. I wipe the tears from my eyes and I turn the water on. Once its the temperature I like I step in, having my shower.

half an hour later I'm out of the shower and I put on my jeans and top. I throw my wet hair into a messy bun and I start on my teeth, washing my face and drying it once I've finished. I press pause on the song I was listening to and walk into my bedroom humming the song. I smile at Ezra splayed across my bed still sleeping. I walk up to him and kiss he's cheek.

"Babe?" I shake him gently.

"Mmm," he mumbles. I kiss he's nose and he smiles.

"Time to wake up." I whisper against he's lips and then I kiss him. When he starts kissing back I pull away.

"Good morning princess." Ezra smiles and grabs my waist, pulling me on top of him.

"Morning handsome." I smile and rest my head against his heart. I smile and trace pattern on his bare chest as Ezra draws his fingers up and down my arms. Its silent for a moment before Ezra whispers, "I love you Aria."

"I love you too Ezra." I smile and he kisses my head. I kiss his chest and then rest my chin on his chest and smile at him. Ezra looks at me and I laugh a little at he's double chin. "Thank you Ezra."

"For what?" He asks genuinely confused.

"For making me smile every day even when I feel I can't. For making me laugh at the things that aren't even funny. For being the amazing person you are." He smiles and leans down kissing me softly.

"Thank you for making me the person I am today," he says and its my turn to smile. I rest my head against he's chest again and take a deep breath in and out.

"We leave in 3 days..." I whisper and faintly feel Ezra nod.

"We do." He whispers back. Its silent for a moment before I stand up and make my way downstairs, Ezra following. I sit down at the table and look at my plate of food. I pick up my fork and eat only the 5 tomato slices. I open my phone and go to my notes.
5 slices of tomatoes. 15 calories.

I turn my phone and off and push my plate away from me. I look at Ezras plate and see everything gone. I look from my plate to my stomach. I stand and go upstairs changing into some workout clothes. I put 'Pretty's On The Inside' on by Chloe Adams. I start by stretching my arms, back and legs. I lay down on the floor and do 100 sit ups. By the time i finish my sit ups the song changes to 'Hide Away' by Daya. I then stand up and do 50 squats and 50 lunges (25 each leg). After those I do 80 jumping jacks and 2x 60 second planks before I let myself rest.

When I stand up from lying down I feel a rush of dizziness. I close my eyes and wait for it to pass but it never does and I can feel myself slowly falling forward.

"Aria?" I hear Ezra's voice softly ring in my head. I can't open my eyes or open my mouth to respond so I stay in my position. "Aria!" Ezra screams and before I know it I'm off my bed my head falling onto something soft and hard at the same time before I let the dizziness win.

Ezra's POV

"Aria!" I exclaim with wide eyes and running over to her bed catching her to my chest as she falls. I hold her to me tightly.

"Whats wrong?" Ella runs in but immediately gets out her phone when she sees Aria.

"Ar, come on baby, wake up." I whisper into her ear. "Please for me."

I'm sitting on the plastic chair in Aria's hospital room holding her hand gently waiting for her to wake up.

"Mmm..." I hear a soft groan come from her and I look at her orange under-toned face that was once a beautiful cream colour and moving so I'm sitting on her bed and I gently move a strand of hair from her face.

She opens her eyes and looking at her right now you can see the dark circles from her rough nights of sleep. Her eyes and how they poke out of her face almost likes a bugs eyes do. The way her skin has sunken a little too much under her cheekbones and jawline. The way she has a couple just noticeable bald spots in her hair if you look close enough. Her lips dry and cracked. And if you look closely into her eyes, really closely, you can see theres no spark anymore. The Aria that once cared about everything no longer cares about anything except being skinny anymore.

I feel Aria's hand come up to my cheek and thats when I notice I have tears falling from my own eyes. When she rubs the pad of her thumb across my cheek i can feel her dry and cracked skin. She smiles sadly at me and I grab her hand kissing it before placing both our hands gently in my lap.
