In Love With Scary Face

The evening was so perfect. I got home and directly headed towards my room smiling and singing my best song. I did not even notice any changes that were made in the house. 

I sat on my bed thinking of how the lunch date went. How romantic he was of pulling the chair for me and the things he said that made me laugh and smile. Am I falling for him? No I cannot fall for him he looks like a playboy and does he have a girlfriend? 

My thoughts were trailed off by a knock on my door. I woke up and opened it to find my mother staring at me with tears in her eyes. I opened the door more to  let her in. 

"What is the matter mother? Why are you crying?" I said. 

She kept on crying and I could not hold back my tears anymore so they trailed down my cheeks wiping them with the sleeve of my sweater. She stopped crying and held my hand, looked at me then begun speaking. 

"My child I never saw this day coming. I had never imagined that such things happen in a marriage because no one was there to tell me. I want you not to worry about what I am about to tell you", She said. 

"Your father has decided to leave us. Later today I discovered that he has another family outside. This is the reason he has been avoiding us but do not worry we have a place to live. This means we have to move to my sister's house till I finish furnishing the house", She said.

I looked at her wondering why would my father do this to us? Why would he leave us for another woman? I could not take it anymore so I stormed out of the house not looking back at my mother who was calling me.

I ran as fast as I could and I was running out of breathe. I stopped at a park which I could not identify.      

I went staright to a seat in the park thinking of how my father used to take us out for lunch and spending more time with us. I loved those days. As I was sitted there, someone touched me from behind and I froze.
