"BEEP!!! BEEP!! BEEP!"  Blared my alarm clock. I groaned and had my hand hit the stop button on it. I sat up in bed and stretched yawning. "Ugh, time for school." I said getting out of bed and heading into the bathroom to take a shower.

When I got out of the shower I put on a light blue tank top on that showed a bit of cleavage, dark blue skinny jeans, black flip flops, a beaded and shelled necklace and bracelet, with my hair braided down the side. I brushed my teeth and looked at myself in the mirror and smile liking what I see.

I then hear a car horn honking telling me to hurry up and I know thats my best friend Harry. I run down the stairs and grab my shoulder bag and sling it over my shoulder. I hurry up and grab something to eat which ended up being fruit snacks and ran out the door closing it behind me. I get into Harry's car and smile at him. "Hey, Harry." I greet him as he backs out of my driveway.

"Hey, Cote. Hows your morning so far?" Harry asked me.

"Pretty good and yourself?" I ask back as I open my fruit snacks plop one in my mouth.

"Pretty good too." He said and drove to our school. I turned and looked at Harry. Harry has short light curly brown hair and brown eyes. Hes kind of tall and really skinny. Harry is the nicest person I know and he cares about everyone. I smile as I realize hes kind of a nerd, but hes really cute and hes the only person I truly care about besides my own mom.

When we finally get to school we both get out of the car. We both walked to my locker so I could get my books for my first classes of the day before lunch. Harry and I then walked to his locker and picked up his books and camera. A thing about Harry is that he loves photography and taking pictures. "I'll see you at lunch Harry ok?" I asked him finishing off my fruit snacks.

He nodded and smiled innocently at me. "Alright." He said. If you hadnt noticed Harry is a virgin, but then again so am I.

Harry walked me to my first period class like he does every morning and before I went inside the classroom I looked back at Harry and waved at the exact moment he took a picture of me. I smiled "See you at lunch Harry." I said and went into the classroom.

I swear as soon as I got into first period the room was buzzing with some kind of party and some people had invitations. The others who didnt have invitations looked extremely left out. There was a girl sitting next to me with one of the invitations and she was holding it up pretty high in her hand bragging about how she wass invited.

I turned to her. "What party is that for? Who invited you?" I asked curiously.

She turned to me with a huge smile on her face. "Its an invitation from the Princess Mina Raven Winters and Prince Aaron Skylar Gray Boston. Its a party to celebrate their engagement." The girl gushed.

I rolled my eyes. Right of course it would be an engagement party where only the elite of the commoner people could go. I sighed thinking I probably didnt get one, but I didnt really care to be honest.

Throughout the whole morning the princess's party was all anyone could talk about aswell as the teachers. It looked like today was the only day in the year hopefully that we werent going to be doing any work in school. I didnt mind though I mean what student would want to do work at school or outside of it?

When lunch came around I met Harry at our table that we sit at everyday. "Did you hear about the party?" Harry asked me when I sat down.

I nodded. "Yes, I did. Are you invited?" I asked him.

"I dont think so." He said shaking his head.

"I dont think I did either, but I guess we will see when we get to our houses after school wont we?" I say looking down and picking at my lunch.

Harry nodded. "Looks like we will." He said.

After we were both done eating Harry started taking pictures of us. I smiled and made faces at the camera just having a good time with him. Finally, I got tired of taking pictures so I took Harry's camera and started taking pictures myself of him. He was so shy and cute when the camera was turned on him and I smiled as I took more. Eventually, I gave back the camera when the bell rang signally the end of lunch.

"Bye, Harry, I'll see you after school." I say hugging him.

The rest of the day went by in a blur everyone was still talking about the engagement party and how everything was going to be so special and wonderful. I rolled my eyes after awhile of hearing everyone being so excited and I couldnt wait until school was over.

I met Harry by his car in the parking lot and when I got home I looked in the mail. What I found was a brightly pink invitation that had my family name on it. I opened it and this is what it said:

The Watson Family is invited to Princess Mina Raven Winters and Prince Aaron Skylar Gray Boston's engagement party.

You dont have to bring anything because everything is going to be previded for. Dress formal and congradulations to Princess Mina Raven Winters and Prince Aaron Skylar Gray Boston.

You may bring one guest.

I went inside holding the invitation and i immediately called Harry. "Harry did you get the invitation in the mail?" I asked.

It was silent on the other line for a moment and I heard some noices in the background. "No, I didnt." He sighed.

I groaned over the phone. "I'll call my mom. I'll call you back." I said and hung up the phone without saying bye.

I then called my mom. "Hello?" My mom answered on the second or third ring.

"Yea, mom do you know what time you get off of work?" I asked.

"I get off at 11. Why?" She asked.

I sighed the engagement party would have already started by then. "Well, mom we got an invitation to the engagement party of Princess Mina and Prince Aaron, and because you wont be here when the party starts can I please go and invite Harry? The invitation said we could bring one guest and Harry didnt get an invitation." I tell her.

"Yes you can invite Harry." She said.

"Oh my god!! Thanks mom! I love you!!!" I said excitedly thanking her.

"Your welcome." My mom laughed. "I have to work now, I love you bye." She said hanging up.

I smiled and then called Harry back. "Harry my mom cant go because shes working and if Im going to go to the engagement party I'm going to need a ride there. Therefore Harry your going with me." I tell him.

I could practically hear the smile in his voice. "Ok, I'll get ready." He said and hung up.

I smiled and set the invitation down on the table before going into my room. "Its party time!" I think to myself.
