Chapter 12: It Begins

Christian's point of view

Two weeks have passed and I have taught Kylie how to use her Ki, fly, and sense energy, she picked it up fast and I was impressed by it. I was getting dressed and I packed extra clothes and my Gi in case my clothes were destroyed. I put on some blue jeans and some old shoes that I didn't care if they were destroyed. I put on a blue Superman shirt with the symbol being white. I run down the stairs with my extra clothes in a bag. I quickly grab something to eat and run outside when I get it. I see my parents, Kylie and her mom, my friends, and Vegeta waiting outside.

"So Kakarot, is everyone coming to watch?" He was a bit annoyed.

"Yes, everyone is coming. They want to watch."

"Fine." He puts up his arm and some futuristic looking screen came up with Okrah's face on it. We are all instantly on the ship. We quickly head off. I wonder how any government hasn't tried to take them down everytime they come to Earth.

1 hour later

We finally arrive at King Cold's planet and even though I don't like him, I will admit it looks nice. The sky isn't blue but a nice red color and I have been reassured we can breathe the air so I don't worry. The town's that we pass all look like damn cities and cities look like palaces. It was majestic. We arrive at the landing dock and Okrah parks the ship. We get out and I see Bardock, Gine, Raditz, and Dai waiting. They tell me that everyone but Gine is participating. So far all I know is that Vegeta, Dai, Bardock, Raditz, and myself are in the tournament. We walk until we reach the arena and like everything else, it's amazing. We notice that there is a line for the participants and a separate one for the people watching the tournament. We all say see you later and go off in different ways. We step in line and I'm bored already.

"So Kakarot, if we fight in this tournament I'm taking you down." I turn to look at Vegeta.

"I doubt it, hell you won't even lay a scratch on me."

"Want to bet?"

"No cause I will win."

"That's enough you two, can't you guys just get along?" Dai stepped in-between us as she said that.

"Why do you care Dai?"

"I care because it's my business to care." Bardock turns around to look at us.

"Everyone shut up, the line started moving so let's go." We all followed Bardock and we were registered in the tournament. The people who registered us said that our names will be called at random to tell us when to fight. We walk to where all the other fighters are and I can sense how strong each of them all. I see Namekians, Frost Demons, and other alien races that I don't know. I sense someone coming up from behind us so I turn around. It turns out to be a female Saiyan, she is wearing a red shirt with black pants. She was wearing black combat boots and yellow combat bands on her wrists that actually looked like metal. Her hair came down to her shoulders and was straight, the first Saiyan I have seen without spikey hair. She taps Dai on the shoulder who turns around.

"Kale!" Dai hugs her and she hugs back. "I didn't think you would participate."

"Well it's the only way I can improve." They stop hugging.

"I guess that's true." Kale turns her attention to me.

"Dai, who is that?"

"Oh him, his name is Kakarot. He is Bardock's son. He also goes by Christian since he was raised on Earth."

"Oh okay, it's nice to meet you."

"Nice to meet you too. So are you and Dai close friends?"

"Y-yes we are." Why did she hesitate when answering. I look to Dai who seems to be a little disappointed.

"Okay, good to know. So when do they announce the names of who is going to fight?"

"Attention! All the fighters participating are finally registered and we can finally start the matches. The first match is going to be Dai against Frozone. Both participants get on the ring so the matches can start."

"Well looks like I'm up, wish me luck."

"No." "No." Vegeta and I say that at the same time.

"Good luck Dai." Kale says and a smile appears on Dai's face.

"Thanks Kale." She heads out to the field as what I can only assume is Frozone walks past us. His power was just as big as Dai's, she might have some trouble with this opponent. Well good luck Dai, you need it.
