Chapter 6

I woke up on the floor with a hand going over my back and gently pulling on my tail. I growled at them and they jumped back. "Woah there, Lioness! Didn't mean to hurt you!" Sirius tried to defend himself and calm me down.

I growled again waking Remus up. "What she growling at her for?" He asked. I went over to him and sat down glaring at Sirius. "Wow. You must have offended her."

"Anyway, I might of accidently pulled her tail trying to wake her up." Sirius told Remus.

Remus didn't look at all impressed. "Sirius, you realise that you aren't supposed to pull a Lionesses tail. Especially a lioness cub. Since their teeth are just coming through." As he said this I showed him my teeth and I saw the fear in his eyes.

"Okay! Okay! Okay! I get it! Please dont hurt me!" Sirius begged.

"Whats this? Sirius Orion Black begging for mercy at the hands-paws!-of a lioness cub?" Remus joked.

"Yeah well. Lions and Lionesses are vicious as heck." I growled again. Mate, come on he is insulting my kind.

"Okay, Lira calm down. When you turn into your animagus form then turn back to human do you still have clothes on even after a long period of time?" Remus asked me and I nodded. "Okay, good. We need you to get Gryffindor-not Ravenclaw-robes on." He said.

I nodded once more and changed into my human form and getting into my Gryffindor robes. (EWW! YOU DIRTY DIRTY PEOPLE! NOT IN FRONT OF THE BOYS! WHY WOULD YOU THINK THAT?! Although, Sirius Orion Black woulf have wanted it since he is such a playboy!)

"Ready?" Remus asked as I came back through. I nodded not wanting ot talk because my fangs will still be there. Taking notice of this he asked "whats wrong?"

I shook my head. "Nothing." I said looking down then looking back up when I was done.

"Your fangs are still there, arent they?" He aksed again I nodded. "Come here." I did scared of being hit or cursed and kept my head down. "I'm really confused here. Why do you have your head down?"

"My brother, Louis, would always curse me or hex me or at least try to torment me in some way, shape or form." I tell him.

Hu hugged me and mumbled "I wouldn't ever dream of hurting you" into my neat tidy hair.

"Lets go to breakfast." James shouted as we broke apart. I could feel my fangs going back into my gum until it was like they were never there. It was a small price to pay for turning into a lioness cub. I'll always be a lioness cub when I'm a Hogwarts student but the minute I come of age! WATCH OUT SIRIUS ORION BALCK! I'LL BE COMMING FOR YOU!

As we went down to breakfast, James turned fast and made me bump into him. "Oof! James!" I snarled.

"Calm down, Fangs." He said helping me up.

"Fangs? Really, James?" Sirius and Remus asked at the same time.

"Yes really." He replied iwth a smirk. "Oh, Remus, it's a full-moon tomorrow night!" James reminded him.

"James, Sirius, Peter. You three realise, unless you have an animagus form of some sort you cant join. Otherwise its a giant risk that we would be taking. Let alone the risk I'm taking trying to calm him down every month its hard." I looked around to make sure no one was listening and kept my voice just above a whisper. "Unless there's something in the restricted section about how to turn into animagi, you cant help."

"Tonight. Under the invisibility cloak. We'll go into the restrictid section and look to see if there is anything about how to turn into animagi." James said keeping his voice down low.

"Just a word of warning: whatever animal you pick, you'll have some type of thing from them. For me it's my eyes and ears. My eyes are abnormal colour and my ears can pick things up from a mile away. Before you ask. No. Slughodn is not talking about how to make love-potions, James. Severus, on the other hand. Him and Lilly....seem to be getting close. Literally." I said keeping my voice quiet so only they could hear.

James looked over and snarled. I hit him over the head with my hand. "James! Shut up!" I snarled at him.

"Sorry." He appologised rubbing the back of his head as we sat down.

"I thought Lira was a Ravencalw, unlike Lila." Someone commented and I saw that it was Jamie.

I sighed "hi Jamie. What do you want?" I aksed aggitated. Sirius and James looked up from their conversation.

"For you to go out with me!?" He demanded/asked.

"We need to talk outised. Now!" I said and he did.

As he disappeared I nodded to the boys and went outside to find Jamie there. "So, does this mean we're a thing?" He asked.

"Jamie for the last time! No!" I telled at him.

"Oh come on. What do you see in that Lupin guy anyways?" He asked.

"Simple really. He's kind, caring, friendly, knows when to keep his mouth shut unlike you. Oh and he is twice the man thag you are. Slytherin!" I told him.

"Thats it!" He shouted and tried to hit me but before he could Remus Sirius and James stood in front of me. "You don't even know the monstee she is! Don't think I haven't forgotten about that day, Lionfreak!"

"What day?" I asked warningly.

"The day you almost killed a lion cub!" He yelled.

"Yeah well he called me a fake. If you were told that by you-by another one of your kind you wouldn't exactly be ha-!" I was cut off by a boy I knew from somewhere coming over. I rolled my eyes. "What an entrance, as always, Leo." I greeted.

"You know me, Fangy." He joked.

"Yeah no. Forbidden Forest, guys? Not you Jamie!" I told him, glaring.

"Ok! Before you kill him, these guys joining?" Leo asked.

"Yep! Well, if they want to skip then of course. I have an excuse already." I told thme they nodded.

Finally, we got to the Forbidden Forest and me and Leo transformed into our lion cub forms. We ran at each other, not realising a centor looking at us like we were friends. I then remembered the centor and ran ul to him and sat at his hoofs. "Hey cub." Frenzir greeted. I roared quietly in reply. Meaning all was good.

"Come on you two! We need to get deeper! We're only on the tree line!" Sirius called.

I roared in reply meaning I'm coming. I ran to him and walked next to him as mine and Leo's tails intertwined. "You a couple?" Remus asked. I shook my head as did he. I gave him the look of 'lets-race-lion-cub-boy' he nodded and we ran deeper into the forest. Hearing Remus snicker James chuckle and Sirius laugh. Suddenly they stopped and I couldn't see Leo anywherw.

"Leo?!" I called out in Lion.

Nothing.

"Leo!?" I called again.

Again nothing.

"Leo!? This isn't funny anymore!! Where are you!?" I then realised I couldn't see the others. "James?! Sirius!? Peter?! Remus!?" I called to no pravail.

No one answered even if it was in lion. Leo would of bene able to translate it into english for them and locate me. I heard a rustle from the bushes and turned around. Nothing. No one was here with me. I started to panic. "R-Remus? L-Leo? J-James? S-Sirius? P-Peter?" I asked into the silence. As the same as before no one answered my calls of distress.

Suddenly, I saw a light from the castle that was Leo's sign when I was lost. He found them and told them I was missing. I roared loudly so he could hear. Nothing came back. I started to really panic. "I shouldn't have raced him. If only I never picked what I did. I may be in here for days becausw of my helplessness and carelessness." I said to myself and laid down in what, I thought, would be my last place I will ever live. I convinced myself that I would rot away until there was nothing left of me. Out of the corner of my eye I saw movement and knew in a moment it was no friend. It was foe.
