Hot chocolate & Fireworks

Elsa's POV:

I have zero classes today. Yay! Not. I have nothing to do. Tooth's already gone, leaving a tray of brownies with peanut butter behind. I'm eying the tray when I get a message

Look at today's issue of People. Why does Rapunzel want me to look at a magazine? Oh well, I get dressed and walk out the door, there's a little kiosk that sells magazines out front. 

The elevator is closing "Can you hold it?" I reach my arm out and hold the elevator open for none other than Jack Overland.  Why now? I never got to ride in elevators with my crush in high school. The fact that I'm in college ruins it.

"Hey Els," Jack says out of breathe "How ya doing?" I smile the best I can when I'm looking at those blue eyes. "I'm doing well, yourself?" he smiles

"Good." then he squints "You don't look dressed for classes, going somewhere?" My gosh, this guy. . .

"Just to buy a magazine out front, I don't have anything to do today." he smirks

"Okay, this is an opportunity that not many people get. . . let's do something fun. You and I." Well, it won't kill me. . .

"I'd like that."

We walk out of the lobby together. The cold air pricks at my face and I grunt reaching for the scarf in my purse. We make our way to the magazines and when I see the headline my stomach churns in a terrible way.

Eugene's sweethearts ranked 

There's three pictures, one is of Eugene with the actress Aurora in the premiere of I see the light. The other is him leaving a building with a redheaded girl who I recognize as one of Rapunzel's friends.  The last picture makes me almost cry, who would be so despicable as to take it? It's my cousin, my beautiful, delicate little cousin, she's sitting with her knees pulled close to her neck, mascara stains all over her face.

"Jack is reading over my shoulder "Holy shi-"

"Jack!" I snap. "Turn to the tenth page!" he looks startled and does as I say.

AaFitzherbet's first and undoubtfuly best girlfriend is actress Aurora Thorn. They worked together on the 2016 film 'I see the light'. The two were seen together at the premiere and in countless places after. If we reporters had to choose, we would choose Aurora. There's a picture of the movie's poster that is captioned: Onscreen love blossomed into more? Jack chuckles

"His nose. . ." I look back at him and scowl, that shuts him up. "I'm sorry!" I scan the page, there is a paragraph or two about the redhead chick who is their second pick. Then there's Rapunzel, they write her off as an outcast, it sickens me. I know I shouldn't but I begin to cry for her, poor Rapunzel.

"Hey," Jack puts one hand on my shoulder, I let him because I need some reassurance. The tears start slowly then turn into a storm. I pull Jack close, he doesn't say anything, he just holds me to his chest and rubs circles on my back. "Jack. " I mumble he hums in response

"Yeah?" I look up at him but keep my arms around his torso

"Let's go home." he looks confused as he stutters

"H-home? Us?" Nod, his face softens and he grabs my hand "Yeah. . . let's go home."

He takes me to his car and I ask "Where are we going?" Jack smiles

"Home." he drives me to this really big house and I gasp "Jack. . .

"My dad's house, he's got a big tv room. It's getting pretty cold. . . I make the world's best hot chocolate. . ." I can tell he's nervous, is it because of me? He brought me here. . .

"I mean, if you want to!" I smile and put my hand on his shoulder

"'Yeah. I do" He takes me inside and my breath catches. The house is not like mansion big but it is really beautiful. He takes me into the kitchen and I'm surprised at  how little they have there "Wha-Why is there so few things?" he takes out a pot

"When Flee was diagnosed we moved out from here. My dad wanted to have the house demolished, I bought it from him." I frown.

"But you don't live here." he gets a distant look and nods

"No. . . I don't. I just come here to be away from everyone." he starts pouring milk into a pot and his face changes "What do you want to watch?" I blush and tuck a  strand of hair behind my ear

"I don't know, you choose." He smiles as he sprinkles cocoa into the pot

"Okay. How about something without Eugene Fitzherbert in it?" I laugh and nod, he chuckles "I mean, the guy's my best friend but the poor guy can't go a month without getting attacked by the media." He hands me a mug and I lean in to grab it.

Time stops. I make eye contact with him and his eyes burn into mine. I start moving forward a bit more. I close my eyes "Elsa. . ." he whispers, his lips brush extremely close to mine.

He pulls back "No. Not yet." I want to pull him over here and tell him just what I think, but I don't. Instead, we head upstairs to the mini theatre.

We end up watching an animated movie. One of my childhood favorites, apparently his too because we both enjoy ourselves. He wasn't lying when he said he made the best hot chocolate, he sprinkles cinnamon on it and it's perfect.

We reach the climax scene, the prince is taking the princess to live her dream and the moment is finally there! They sing and I'm reminded of when I'd watch this movie with my parents. Tears spill silently from my eyes and I try to keep quiet for Jack sake.

I sneak a peek at him and he's already looking at me, there are tears in his eyes too for some reason. He moves himself so that he's sitting next to me on the couch.

This time he does kiss me and it's better than I had anticipated. Fireworks explode around me and I smile against his lips "It took you long enough." he pulls back and smiles

"Yeah, I couldn't quite muster the courage. he kisses me again really quickly and stands up "It's getting dark. Do you have classes tomorrow?"I shake my head and realize I'm happy about it. Jack looks at his hands and bounces around "Well. . . do you want me to take you to your apartment or. . . I have extra rooms here. I'm staying the night." I stand and walk over to him.

His arms go around me as I say "Here is good."

So, Jelsas finally kissed. Are you happy now? I don't know how many of you out there actually want Jelsa chapters, so, let me know if you want more. M'kay?

PS. I like that video very much. Yes, very, very much. BUT, the number one ship in the world is apparently Harmony of the seas (Royal Caribbean-2016) I have absolutely no clue what that is though.
