Finn POV
Shit, I shouldn't have done this at all. This student/teacher relationship would never work. I met Rachel's mother at the bar down the street like 2 nights ago.
God I'm sick Of myself. I'm a horrible person. I led Rachel on and then broke her heart. I can't believe I let my heart get the better of me she's a student finn!!
I actually never knew Rachel was adopted, I think what her mother or adoptive mother said was a little bit overboard
"Come on Finn, let's finish what we started. She's away now" her mother said places mg her hand on my arm but I quickly brushed it away
"Listen no disrespect or anything. It I don't even remember your name" I say honestly, I'm just a horrible bastard.
"We were drunk, I can't do anything like this anymore. Did you see Rachel's face? She was heartbroken because I led her on. And another thing, the way you talked to her was unbelievable" I say harshly looking out of my apartment window
"Finnegan, she deserved to know" her mother said
I don't know what made me angry, probably the fact that she is so cold towards Rachel's name
"Listen you bitch, the way you talk about Rachel is terrible, she's the best thing that's happened to me in years, you know what? Just fuck off!" I rage at her
She surprisingly done as she was told and left grabbing her purse and heading out of the apartment with a slam of the wooden door
I sigh heavily and slump myself in the couch and just think to myself
Rachel POV
Elena showed me to the guest bedroom, where I started unpacking my clothes. Elena walked in and sat in the edge of the bed which I will be sleep my in for god knows how long. I'm grateful.
"So since me and you aren't going to school tomorrow, why don't we go out?" Elena suggested
It took me a couple of seconds to consider but I decided to give it a shot.
"Sure, just me and you?" I asked putting the last of my clothes into the drawers
"Nope, me, you, Damon and my sexy man piece Stefan" she winked and I laughed
"I didn't know you had a boyfriend Elena!!! Tell me everything!!!" I shout sitting in the bed excitedly
"Well he's 17, gorgeous, tall, nice eyes" Elena carries away with him
"Who's Damon?" I ask
"That's Stefans brother, don't get me wrong he is really good looking and mysterious. You two would click instantly" she winked
I'm not over finn and stuff so that will not be happening Elena, I thought the myself but I decided to not argue with her.
A couple hours passed, we got ready casually and headed to 'the grill' I'm sure Elena called it or something like that where we would be meeting the mysterious Stefan and Damon
We enter the grill and Elena guides me to the table, Stefan and Damon weren't here yet so we just sat in a back booth.
"You'll like Damon, I can feel it" Elena reasons whilst looking at a menu
"Nope, I'm staying single forever" I say also looking at a menu, Elena gives me the 'shut up and give him a chance' look, so I decided to stay quiet
After about 10 minutes two men came over to the table. They were both really good looking but not as good as the man I previously 'dated' could you even say that?
The man with the dark black hair extended his hand for me to shake, which I did. I also did it with the other man.
"I'm Damon" the man with the dark black hair said taking a seat next to me, since Stefan I take was sitting next to Elena.
We were talking and drinking, Elena told Damon to make up some fake ID's for us all, and handed mine to me.
Damon got the first round, I've never drank so I just took what Elena was having.
(2 hours later)
Me and Damon were extremely sober, neither of us touched our drinks, whereas Elena and Stefan were steaming with drink.
Me and Damon were talking, me telling him what happened with Finn and the adopting thing.
" that's gotta hurt" he said
"Trust me you have no idea" I say looking down
Our attention got brought to Stefan and Elena making out hungrily. My stomach churled at the sight, they were eating the face off of each other.
"They need to get a room" Damon stated
I laughed, he seemed nice but nothing more relationship wise.
"Listen Damon you look like a lovely guy and your sweet but if your looking for a relationship, I'm sorry but I can't. I don't think I can ever be in a relationship again" I say
He looks at me and smiles
"Listen at least get the full story off of the guy, maybe he was drugged or something. And I didn't want a relationship, I just want to have a friendship if that's ok" he explains
"I'm sorry, I thought you wanted a relationship. I must sound like an absolute asshole" I say
"No your not, just get the full story off of the guy, you might be surprised." He says
At least he has the decency to give Finn a chance and he doesn't even know him, should I listen to Damon, as a friend?
"Thanks Damon" I say
"Your welcome, let's get these two home" he says getting up
