Chapter 26

Finn POV

She shut her eyes!!!! Fuck no!

I shake her

"Rach!!! Don't you dare shut your eyes" I say through my tears

God what if she doesn't make it? I can't survive without her. She wasn't picking up her phone, that's why I came round. Thank god I did

I keep the shirt firmly on the bleeding wound until the ambulance got here. They picked her up and put her in a stretcher and immediately put her in the ambulance.

I got in the back and held her hand,lightly sobbing.... hoping she's going to be ok

I'm going to kill the bastard! I don't even know who it is! He ran away before the ambulance and police got here.

Don't worry I'll fucking find him and have a little 'talk' with him. How dare he! I know me and Rachel aren't exactly on good terms but he will pay for what he's done to her

The police were following behind us.

We pull up at the hospital and she gets rushed into a room

I go to walk in when a doctor stopped me in my tracks

"Sorry sir, I know your worried but we will try everything. Why don't you go and get a glass of water to calm your nerves" he suggested showing me to the water fountain

"Is she going to be ok?" I inhale huskily

"I don't know if I'm being honest, but I'm sure she will. Come on, drink" he says handing me the cup of ice cold water

It actually did calm me down a little, well for the Moment being anyway...

I think he noticed how scared I was if I lost her, he lightly patted my shoulder grabbing my attention.

"Does she have any family that you can contact?" He asked

"I didn't bring my phone and I don't know any numbers anyway" I say holding my head in my hands

"I take it you are her husband?" He asks sitting beside me in this little white waiting room

"No, I don't really know where I stand with her to be honest" I chuckle but then I get brought back to the horrible feeling of discomfort and depressed.

"Sounds like me" he jokes

"I'm dr Blaine" he holds his hand out for me to shake, which I gladly did. He seemed like a really nice doctor

"Finn" I say back

We sit talking for about another 20 minutes when he had to be called for giving surgery

"Listen, she'll be fine. When she's out of surgery ask for me and I'll take you to her room" he says getting up and leaving me alone in Thai depressing little compact white room

I'm going to get the bastard who done this, mark my word. There's going to be world war 3 when I confront him

At least Blaine comforted me for a little while, he seems like a really nice fella. I sit alone for another few hours by myself gathering my thoughts together

I can't even contact anyone, I don't know the numbers and I didn't bring my phone or any other possessions with me, cause I thought it was going to be a quick visit

I sit wondering if she will ever get out of surgery when Blaine came in and said she was out.

"Can I see her?" I plead

He nodded his head and we began walking down the depressing long halls that the hospitals were now made of

"She's in there, if you need anything I'll be right in the staff base" he said pointing to the door down the hall

"Thanks Blaine, really for everything" I say shaking his hand thankfully

He smiled and then proceeded To walk down to the staff base

I hesitate to open the door but ended up doing it anyway.

I walk in to see my Rachel hooked up to tons of machines, she was asleep. She looked so peaceful, well under the circumstances.

I held her hand as I sat in the chair next to the bed and proceed to do so until she started to blink her eyes open

"Finn?" She questioned

"Yeah, it's me" I say

"Oh" was all she said so I took that as the cue to leave

"I'm sorry, I'll leave" I say getting up but her soft hand pulled me back down

"You saved me" She says smiling

"Well, you still kinda got hurt and stuff, I only covered the wound and called the ambulance so the doctors kinda saved you" I say seriously but she only laughed

"I'm sorry Rachel, I'm so so so so so so so sorry" I say with tears filling up in my eyes and then proceeding to fall down my cheeks

"It's fine, thank you" She says kissing my hand

"Do you know who it was?" I ask

"Nope, but I take it Your already on it?" She laughs

"Yes I am, I swear I will kill him" I grit my teeth together at the thought

"Hey, we will get whoever it was. God it hurts so much" she says holding her stomach to Where the wound is

"Do you want me to get the nurse?" I ask scared

"No it's fine finn" she smiles

"I wish I could take your pain" I say the tears falling down

"I don't think I could go back in that house " she says

"What did he do to you rach?" I ask

"Well he raped me and then threw me across the room, hitting me off of my dressing table and then stabbed me. Someone phoned me and treated to leak the secret of me and your relationship, if I didn't go outside. So I did but then went back in because nobody was there. I went upstairs to change and that's when the glove went over my mouth and demanded that I stripped and then he you know....."
She trailed off, her tears fell

I wiped them with my hand

He's gonna pay and I mean it
