Chapter 22: Crowns and Caspian

Andrew, Bethany, and I started walking to go and find Caspian. as we where walking Andrew grabbed my hand only a few seconds after he did Bethany ran into a tree.

"Bethany are you ok?" I asked her.

"ya I just.... wow," she trialed off as she was looking at the tree. I looked to and there was a hollow part in it and it had two crowns. One said 'Bravery' on it and the other one said 'Courage'. The Bravery one was a jade crown and the Courage a platinum crown. Bethany pulled them out of the tree.

"These are our crowns," she said.

"Ok cool," I said and then took the jade crown.

"You are now the queens of Narnia," Andrew said bowing to us.

"Aww thanks," Bethany said.

"Let go find Caspian," I said.

Bethany ran ahead and not a few seconds after she ran into Caspian.

"Girls it's great to see you again. Where's the others?" Caspian asked.

"They went home and Aslan went away. He told us to find you," Bethany answered.

"Ok I'll be happy to look after you guys, but who's the boy?" Caspian asked.

"I'm Andrew," Andrew answered.

"Great," Caspian said.

We started walking again. Andrew and I held hands and many time her\ tried to put the crown on my head. I refused but he still tried. One time he thought he got in on my head I took it right off. He did this puppy dog face. I put the crown on and he got all happy again. He kissed me on the cheek. We got to the castle ruins and Andrew and I sat together. He was holding my hand. Then Bethany ran over and quickly pulled me away

"What's this all about?" I asked.

"I knew Caspian reminded me of some one. I just called him dad," she answered. I almost fell over and so did she.

"Dad? He reminds you of DAD?!"I half yelled.

"I know," she barely said.

"Ok what did he say back?" I asked.

"He said that it was fine to call him that because we will sort of father and daughter," she answered.

"You can call him that but no one can replace dad," I said.

"I knew you wouldn't but that's fine," she said and then hugged me and walked away. I walked back over to Andrew.
