Chapter 15: Awake

I woke up in pain as if all of my cuts where put in rubbing alcohol. It hurt so bad. I let out a moan of pain as I tried to move.

"Andrew," I managed to say. No one replied.

"Andrew," I said a little louder.

"I'm right here Rae. It's ok," I heard him say. He grabbed my hand and held it. I held back.

"Where..... where am I?" I managed to say.

"Where in the woods Raven," he answered.

"Where's...... where's Bethany?" I asked.

"I honesty don't know," he replied.

"Where's..... where's everyone else?" I asked. It hurt to talk but I had to make to sure.

"Lucy and Susan are over there Aslan is with Edmund and Peter is with Bethany. Rae stop talking I don't want you to be in pain. Excusably if it hurt to talk," he begged. I nodded. I looked around and noticed that he was right. It was only him and I right now. I looked at him and he nodded. He got up and walked away. A few minutes later Lucy burst threw the bushes with Susan right behind her and Andrew right behind Susan.

"Rae I'm so glad you're ok," Lucy said hugging me. It hurt but I didn't say anything. I hugged back. After she let go Susan helped my sit up and hugged me not as tight. I winced at the pain as I tried to get up. I looked down and noticed that my side was wrapped. Oh ya I forgot that I got stabbed while fight Andrew once.

"Rae take it easy," Susan said.

"I need to talk to Bethany," I said still trying to get up.

"Here how about I help you," Susan said helping me up all the way. I grabbed my side as we walked. Then we found her.

Bethany what happened?" I asked as I sat next to her.

"Nothing. What do you want?!" She asked. She was crying.

"Please tell me what happened," I begged.

"Nothing!" She yelled getting up and walking away. Lucy, Susan, and Andrew walked over to me. I felt tears going down my face. Andre sat next to me.

"She never yells at me," I said the bravest way I could.

"It's ok. She's just not in the mood to talk," Andrew said.

"Why did I do? It wasn't my fault. I'll give her space plenty of it," I said hugging Andrew. He hugged back.
