We're pressured to look "pretty"
Day after day.
Skinny and flawless, that's
The only way.
Everywhere we look,
We see this beauty.
Is that fake perfection
The price of being free?
The malevolent gaze from
A model's eyes.
Looking almost content,
Behind makeup, she hides.
The pain people go through
To achieve this "perfection".
They use social media for
Their Ego's protection.
They don't understand that
Beauty Isn't Real,
It all comes from the way
We think and feel.
