It began with a look, This chain reaction.
These feelings, they surfaced fraction by fraction.
Your chin was turned up, your lips tightly pursed;
Your glare was so sharp that my bubble was burst.
I could never smile when you were around:
You ruined the mood with the way that you frowned.
The darkness you dragged into rooms when you entered
Caused me an ache. Around you it was centred.
The ache of the feelings, on my heart you painted.
The feeling was mutual.
The feeling was hatred.
