Music to set the mood.

I stood before the great beast of a dragon, with my shield and sword at the ready.
I stared into its fathomless pits for eyes, and roared my battle cry, whilst I charged toward it. A deadly flame hit my shield, as I raised it just in time to stop myself from becoming human charcoal, from the hellish heat of the roaring flame. I pushed onwards, and bared the heat as I moved towards the beast with deadly fire. I was soon within reaching distance. My sword was in my right hand and swung toward the mighty dragon's obsidian snout, creating a deep gash on its sensitive nose. On instinct I ducked and barely missed being beheaded by the dragons sharp claws, as they swung towards me. It was at that moment I realised that the beast had left its underbelly and throat unprotected, whilst it had tried unsuccessfully to kill me. I stuck with snake like speed, stabbing my sword into its throat. With a loud final roar, and an earthshaking thud it fell to the ground as a lifeless hunk of flesh.

'I've done it, I'd finally killed the dragon. All that's left is to return the princess to the king.'

I turned towards the tower which the dragon had defended with its life, and made my way toward it. I pushed on the heavy wooden door, which caused it to groan from disuse. To my left were some steep, stone stairs, that obviously lead up to the tower- seeing as they were the only stairs in the building that went up. Another wooden door stood at the top of the stairs, decorated with many locks. 'Argh, this is gonna be a pain.' I thought to myself as I got to work unlocking the door.

As I finally opened the door, I saw a lonesome figure stood by the window, and stared of into the sunset. She was a beautiful sight to behold, with her long platinum blond hair, that reached to her shoulders, tied in a golden ribbon. Her corseted dress was a silver, which sparkled and reflected the setting suns rays that created a heavenly halo around her. She turned with an elegant grace towards me, her sky blue eyes widened in surprise at my sudden appearance.
"Who are you, may I ask?" She asked in a curious tone.
"I am your rescuer milady." I replied with a faked gravely voice.
"Oh. Are you here to return me to my father?"
"Yes."
"You do not say much do you."
"...."
She sighed. "Very well. Take me to my father, so that I may be married to a suitor chosen by him."
At that I nodded and spun around to exit the room, when I heard her say.
"I didn't catch your name."
I froze at that. I would have preferred it if she never learnt my name so, I replied with a line I often heard one of my closest friends say when they where stuck in a situation like this.
"I never threw it."
And with that I exited the tower and made my way to the lower floor, with the princess, who followed silently behind me. Once on the ground floor I noticed a new figure stood in the middle of the stone room.
