With a resigned sigh, he tentatively leans towards me. A light pressure on my lips causes my stomach to flutter. After a moment or two, I hesitantly return the kiss, before pulling away with a bright red blush.I suddenly pull away, startling Alex into letting go of me. My heart was beating so fast that it almost hurt. My mind was jumbled with too many thoughts that it didn't register Alex's failed attempts of gaining my attention.
I couldn't deal with this at the moment. I need to get out of here.I stumble to my feet and take a step towards the door. However a firm grip on my wrist stops me from going further. I spin around to face the person who had grabbed me. Causing them to loosen their grip enough for me to yank my shoulder away from him and run out the door.
My vision blurred as I ran. By the time I'd stopped, I was in the woods surrounding the house. I breathed in deeply, then released my breath in a loud rush of air. I did this several more times before my heart rate had calmed down enough for me to think clearly.
A note was sitting on the dinning table;
'If you want to see your friend ever again, then come find me.
