Leah
The sound of people clapping echoed in her ears.
The flowers, balloons, smiles...they were sickening.
For a girl, their wedding day was the most precious day of their life.
But Leah never felt any of those.
Even as she looked at her fiance's eyes.
She realized one thing.
He didn't make her smile.
He didn't worry about her.
He didn't love her.
He wasn't him.
"Do you Leah, accept Vance as your-"
And then it happened, the words flew out from her mouth so smoothly and quietly.
"NO!"
"Excuse me?" He said, eyes filled with malice and voice raised.
"I said NO!" She said firmly.
"What did you say?" He was angered but surprised at the fierce fire in her eyes.
"I said NO!" She yelled.
"Leah!" Her father voice ordered.
"Shut up!" She yelled once again, raising her voice. "SHUT UP!SHUT UP! SHUT UP!"
"Listen here you!" Her shaky finger pointed at him."All of you!" She pointed at her parents.
"I am not anyone's fucking property and you won't order me around and tell me what to do!"
"Leah! If you don't stop!" He warned, raising his fist.
"What will you do?Hit me?" She laughed, pointing at his raised fist.
"You want me to marry him?" She asked her bewildered parents.
"I'd rather be a spinster for the rest of my life than marry a monster like him!" She spat.
He raised his fist to hit her but another hand caught his wrist.
