I didn't know why I had these butterflies all of a sudden over some simple chill time.
Like of course, Keretta was a bad bitch but that didn't really matter like that to me. I've messed with tons of bad bitches.
No girl had ever made me stop and think like this in my life unless it was my mama and that was only after a good ass whooping. It was crazy forreal.
What was I doing?
My phone dinged, taking me out of my thoughts. I pressed the home button so that it would light up and saw a notification for a message from Keretta. I ain't even bother to read it. I assumed she was already outside.
"Damn," I wiped a hand over my face and went to get the door.
What was revealed to me was fine ass Keretta, in a lil Polo sweatsuit and some Fenty slides.
"So I'd love to be let in. No disrespect, but I didn't come all the way over here just to stand outside. Ya feel me?" I rolled my eyes before smoothly taking her hand.
"No greeting?" I smile and begin to gently tug her inside.
"Shut up clown."

We started chilling on my couch, watching Martin and eating some pizza. I lowkey felt like pizza was so basic when it came to 'chill food' but I was hungry as hell and had been craving for the longest.
"So, do you chill with all the niggas you be letting drown in that mobile ocean you carrying?" I decided to strike up conversation, earning a punch in the arm.
I couldn't even play. Shorty punches really hurt.
"How about, there's no such thing as 'all the niggas'. I don't even get down like that and I was almost about to dub your milk dud looking ass," Keretta sucked her teeth and scooted closer to me, wasting no time to smack me with a pillow.
"Yo girl, you gon chill out with all that hitting." I chuckled and softly mushed her face.
Once she was readjusted comfortably, I turned the television off and wrapped my arm around her. We weren't watching it anymore anyway and I was actually interested in vibing with her.
What was a few minutes ended up being hours on hours. We talked about everything, from aliens to the government.
"I swear the world is crazy! We out here building these robots that can sweat and shake they asses to mimic these strippers but can't help the homeless, or stop these police officers from killing our unarmed black men. Let that crazy robot ass hoe Sophia come up to me if she want to."
Keretta had been on a rant for a few minutes which made me laugh to myself.
I just wanted to hear her talk to be honest. She could sit here and complain to me for hours about whatever she wanted. I knew I wasn't gon do anything but listen and gas her up. The occasional response of 'facts man' or 'that's crazy' did nothing but make her continue.
It was cute as hell.
"Aight mama, damn. You really going hard as hell over there. You better chill before the government think you plotting. Just earlier you was talkin' bout how they can see us through our phones. When a hand reach through yo front camera and snatch you by them roots don't say nothin'." I laughed at how frowned up she was. She eventually started laughing right along with me.
