ONE. | "A NIFFLER IN A BANK. HOW CONVENIENT."
"Dear Mr. Scamander,
Many have believed that Nifflers have hidden nests where they secure their stealings, but I guarantee you that you won't find one. Actually, Nifflers have a pouch on their bellies that holds far more than it looks possible, just like the effects of an Undetectable Extension Charm on a container. Tickling their belly is a very effective way to make them spill out all of the shiny things they had stolen. But don't be so harsh. Despite being gentle and loving towards their owners Nifflers can also turn dangerous if provoked, so be careful if you encounter one.
Next time, be a bit more careful with your belongings, Mr. Scamander. And, by the way, your drawing of the creature is very accurate. It made me very happy to see how much you cared about the details. It is very adorable, but I don't recommend it as a house pet. Mine's robbed all of my mother's jewelry countless times. I had to build a little nest for him so he could be satisfied with some amount of Galleons and away from our house."

There were very few reasons for Trinity to go to New York. It was not like she held displeasure for traveling abroad - she's done that countless times and loved each one of them - but America wasn't one of her favorite places and definitely wasn't the one she'd choose to spend her vacations. Sadly, it was the only place she knew she would find what her mother had asked.
Suzannah Withers was undoubtedly the one in charge of the Withers family. No person in their right mind would oppose her, especially her kids. And apparently, she had no concerns about sending her daughter after an extremely dangerous beast across the Atlantic, even if the most dangerous Dark Wizard in history was out there.
Not that her safety's been meaning much for her mother for the past few years. She was sure that sending her to America was a sick joke on her mother's part, who obviously wanted to torment her daughter.
Now, because of a seemingly innocent and petty order from the family matriarch, Nity found herself with a way more dangerous responsibility on her shoulders. People really couldn't give her a break.
Karma was a bitch, indeed.
Sat on a bench on the ship that glided into New York, Trinity spent her quiet time reading the notes she recently received from her grandmother about the beasts she had encountered on her trip to Romania with her son, Nity's father.
A small smile played on the woman's lips as she read the comments about each magical beast. Her grandmother always had a sarcastic reply on the tip of her tongue, no matter if its receiver was one of her family members or the creatures that lived with them.
