I've been sitting at home, a few beers in my system when I heard a knock at the door, which was weird for being eleven at night, but I answered anyway. When I opened the door, I saw the love of my life in front of me. A small smile formed on my lips as I saw her. "What a nice surprise to see you here, Miss Lovato," I told her with a small chuckle, letting her inside. It was a cool August summer night, so the heat wasn't horrendous. "What are you doing here, young lady?" I shut the door behind her and pulled her into my embrace. "I just wanted to give you a little surprise visit." She chuckled and snaked her arms around my neck. I planted a soft kiss on her lips. "You know I love you, right?" I say against her lips. "Oh, I sure hope you do. Or we are going to have problems, Jonas." She let out a small laugh.

She was so beautiful. It drove me crazy. I couldn't believe I could call her mine. I took her over to the living room, pulling her close once again, swaying slightly as I held her in my arms. "What did you have in mind for tonight, baby?" I cocked a brow. "For some lovin'," she flashed a small smile. "Just you and your love." I kissed her temple. "I could give you that. Now, a follow up question, princess. Where do you want lovin'? Here or my bedroom?" I swear her eyes lit up like a child on Christmas. "Your bedroom, of course. You got the comfy bed." I let out a small chuckle. "My room it is then." I picked her up and threw her over my shoulder. She screamed with joy and laughed as I carried her into the bedroom and threw her on my bed. I grinned as I crawled in next to her. "Did you enjoy your ride?" I asked sarcastically as I pulled her close. "It was so fun. We should do it again, soon." She smirked. "I could make that happen."

Before she could even get another word out, I smashed my lips against hers. Her hands clasped around my head as she kissed me back. I pulled back slightly, giving a small smirk. "Want more?" I asked in a low voice. "Yes," she whispered back. I pulled her on top of me and started kissing her again, moving my lips down to her collar bone as for she had on a black v top and jeans. She let out a soft moan. "Hm, you like that baby girl?" She nodded, and I went back and did the same motion. Before I knew it, she flipped us over, giving me a slight smirk. "Can I help you, Demetria?" I asked, cocking a brow as I cupped her cheek with my hand. "Yes you can, Nicholas. I want you to make love to me. I want to feel your body against mine." She said softly. "Late night love making, hm? Fine by me." I chucked, nuzzling my head in her neck to plant kisses. I pulled my head back out and looked back up at Demi, who had a concerned look on her face. "You okay there, love?" I placed my hands on her waist. "Yeah, I'm fine. I've just been thinking," She replied, moving to the side of me instead. I propped myself on my elbow to get a better view of her. "Of what?" I furrowed my brows. "Just life in general, us. I'm sorry I interrupted what we were doing, but I just started thinking about how we don't really get to have spontaneous nights like this. I love and hate the industry we're in because we get so busy and I just want to spend time with you. And only you." She let out a sigh as I pulled her into my arms. "Shh, don't worry about it, baby. We've made it work for almost six years. We can still make it work," I started to stroke her hair gently. "What are you doing tomorrow, princess?" I whispered in her ear. "I have off," her eyes fell shut. "Why?" She asked, finally relaxing in my arms. "I have off tomorrow as well. Why don't we do something fun and spontaneous?" I reached over and turned off the lamp on my nightstand, letting my eyes close shut. "That sounds nice. I can't wait," I could feel her smile against my chest and I swear my heart skipped a beat.

The next morning felt like it came too soon. When I awoke, it was already nine thirty. Demi was still asleep, and I didn't want to wake her just yet. It is only Thursday and our six year anniversary is Monday. Thoughts swormed my head with everything wrong that could happen. I chewed on my lip for a moment before wiggling my way out of bed and going to the kitchen. I opened up the fridge, scratching my head. I grabbed eggs and bacon to start making breakfast. I didn't realize how much time had passed until I felt arms wrap around me from behind. "Mm, it smells so good in here, baby." Her sleepy voice is to die for. I let out a soft chuckle. "Hope you're hungry." She moved from behind me to sit at the counter next to me. She managed to take yet another shirt from me to just parade around in all day. A small smirk forms on my lips. "Having fun in my shirt?" I ask, sarcastically. "So much fun," she came back with. "More fun than you ever have in this." I cocked a brow. "Explain yourself, Lovato." She flashed a sly smile. "Why? Don't you want to find out yourself?" I licked my lips, still watching the food cook. "Why don't we find out after we eat, hm?" I cleared my throat, turning off the stove and dishing out the food on two plates. She jumped down from the counter and kissed my jawline. "Whatever you say, darling." She mumbled against my skin, that sent chills down my spine.

After breakfast, we found ourselves tangled in the sheets making pure magic. After both climaxing, I rolled to the side of her and pulled her close, kissing her jaw gingerly. "You are the love of my life," I whispered, placing a hand on her cheek. She let out a soft chuckle and smile. "I could say the same about you. I waited only forever to be with you." I pecked her temple and pulled her closer. "Are you excited about Monday?" I asked after a few minutes of silence. "Mm, so ready. Do you have anything planned, or are we just winging it?" I felt my heart start to race, but quickly calmed myself down. "A little bit of both, honestly." That was complete and utter bullshit. I didn't even know what I was going to do, let alone how I was going to propose. I swallowed the lump in my throat and closed my eyes.

The weekend came and went way too quickly. I was pacing around my kitchen Monday morning, not really knowing what to do. Do I propose first? Do I propose at the end of the night? I stopped in my tracks as I heard the doorbell ring. I swear my heart dropped into my stomach. I walked over to the front door and opened it. And there she was, the love of my life, the woman I wanted to marry. "Well, I feel underdressed now," I chuckled as she walked inside. She was wearing a thigh length black dress, my favorite actually. It really showcased her body. I just had on jeans and a tee. I leaned in to kiss her. "Happy six years, baby girl." I flashed a toothy smile while putting my hands on her hips. "Happy six years, baby." She giggled, pecking my lips. "And do you want me to pick you out an outfit for today?" She cocked a brow. "Well, no. I was planning on picking you up today. You didn't have to come all the way here," I pulled her closer. "But I'm not gonna stop you from taking these clothes off." I whispered in her ear. She smacked my chest as I laughed, giving a soft smile. "You still can be the driver if you want to so badly," she took my hands and took them off of her hips. "I'll just be your hitchhiker." She winked, walking into the living room. "Oh please," I rolled my eyes walking over to her. "If you give me five minutes to fancy this up a bit, we can head out. Sound good?" She smiled and gave a small nod.

After dressing up and grabbing the ring from my night stand, I took Demi by the arm and led her out to my car. I helped her in before getting in myself. "What's up with you helping me in the car? It's not like I'm dying or anything." she stated. "I just want to give my lady the best time today." I glanced over at her and gave a soft smile. She let out a small giggle. "Well, if you say so," she glanced out the window. "Where are we going first?" She asked after a couple of minutes of silence. "Just wait. I don't want to ruin the surprise." I bit my lip, in hopes to keep the surprise going.

We arrived at the beach, just to view the waves and the beautiful sights. We were walking the broadwalk when I decided to just go for it, to get it over with and just propose. It was now or never. I took in a deep breath and stopped her. "Dem, I want to ask you something." I looked at her, biting my lip. "Of course you can, you can ask me anything." I nodded and got down on one knee, taking out the ring box. Her eyes widened as I opened the box. "We've been together for six years as of today, and I couldn't be happier with you," I started. People started to gather around and watch. "I love you so much Demetria, and I want you to be my wife." I cleared my throat. "Demetria, will you marry me?" Tears were forming in her eyes as she nodded repeatedly. "Yes! Yes, of course I will marry you." I flashed my toothy grin as I slid the ring on her finger. I stood and kissed her as the bystanders around us clapped. I broke the kiss and rested my forehead against hers. "I love you, Demi." I whispered. "I love you, so much." I heard her whisper back.
