Part 6

"...Doe?"

A pen being stuck in her belly Katarina's eyes shot open as Remi was giving her a look saying "Alert, teacher's mad at you".

"Now that you grace us with your attention Miss Doe, can you answer that very simple question: can you translate in French 'I am very sorry that I fell asleep during your class. I really like French' ? ".

Katarina immediately answered : "Yes sir, it is: 'Je suis vraiment désolée de m'être endormie pendant votre classe. J'aime beaucoup le Français.' "

The teacher's evil look disapeared whilst Katarina Doe translated perfectly what he had said. "Hum, You are lucky this time, but you must pay close attention during class. Your luck might accidentally decide to leave you."

Then as the teacher turned back to his board, explaining French grammar, Katarina just smirked knowing she had won that round. She then spotted Blyke zoning out and decided to make fun of him by throwing him some pieces of eraser, which pissed him. That's how a secret battle began at the end of the classroom.

At the end of class, Kat and Blyke were crying tears of laughter as Remi and Isen were giving them disapproval looks. "Stop being so childish, you both earned detention. Plus, it's during a saturday, that's so awful I don't even understand how you can still be laughing!"

Regaining her calm, Kat tried to explain to them that she didn't really care. "Well, you see, I hadn't anything booked this Saturday so I would have just spend it pacing in my room. Now I have an opportunity to do something fun!"

"Wait what?! You find doing supplementary homeworks fun?" A very shocked Isen whisper-yelled.

"Dummy, we both will be at school. IN the school. That's the best moment to set pranks and explore forbidden rooms! Maybe we will find the food box where the teachers keep their snacks héhé." A very excited Blyke stated with a 'That's obvious mate, I don't even understand why you didn't thought of that in the first place' look.

With that, a thoughtful silence was set. Almost immediately broke by Katarina saying: "Didn't we agreed on grabbing coffee after class? What are we waiting for? If we don't hurry there won't be any left and we will have to beat up freshmen to steal theirs."

Seeing the evil glimpse in her eyes, Remi quickly said: "Yeah, let's hurry, I don't want to see blood everywhere."

Something snapped in Isen's head as he said. "Kat, you didn't answer before: what are you?"

Then the blond said with a knowing smile "I am a black panther. And yeah as strange as it sounds, I can transform."

With wide eyes Isen exclaimed: "But then how powerful are you?"

"That I will not tell. It's not really that important is it?" With that Katarina headed towards the cafeteria, willing to have her coffee.
