"So...care to explain...what was that back there?" Asked Blyke while trying to get his breath back.

They had been running for awhile making sure they weren't followed by the gang. All the way, the young man couldn't help but notice the look of pure fear in Katarina's eyes. He never saw her like that, even though she tried to hide it from him.

Like she attempted to do just now by ignoring his question.

"Wewh! Man, I'm certainly not in good shape, I need to work out!" The girl said while stretching. She then, look at Blyke and gave him a reassuring smile.

At least that's what she thought.

"You know, I think this is the most creepy reassuring smile you could have gave me! Seriously Kat I'm here, you can rely on me."

Katarina closed her eyes, Blyke was kinda in his right to know. The dude saved her, she could at least gave him an explanation as to why a bunch of creepy bastards tried to beat the living crap out of her.

Sighing heavily in defeat, the girl began to speak. Her voice barely hearable, almost a whisper, making Blyke concentrate hard in order to understand her words.

As her story was going on, the red haired boy's eyes were widening with horror. He could see that she was trying to be strong and not have a break down right now while recaling all this events. He felt guilty for asking, yet that feeling was overpowered by a deeper one, more intense.

Anger.

No.

More like rage.

Nobody should be tortured by any means. Especially not his friend. These guys better not show up again.

"I...I just wanted to help make a world more fair. A place nicer for my dad to lives in. Is that even possible? My dad...he never asked for all that, he never said it to John nor to me but I'm sure he suffered is condition." Katarina said looking him in the eyes as if asking for his opinion.

She wasn't expecting much, he was her friend yeas, but that didn't mean he had to agree with her. After all, Blyke was the Jack of the school, which meant hierarchy was something important for him.

However, she wasn't prepared to hear him say:

"I don't think it is impossible, and don't feel embarassed for what you did. Everyone should do their best if they truly wish for something to happen. You are kind Katarina, you want to ease your dad's situation and that understandable, it may takes time, but you have to try if it's what you really want. I am glad you talked to me about it, I'll always be there for you, that's what friends are for." Smiling, he then patted her on the head.

"Let's go back home, you need to rest after this long day! You can't be sick, you absolutely need to come at school tomorrow to witness the students going in their now perfectly cleaned bathrooms!"

"Oh yeah! You know what? We should make them treat us like gods for spending a whole day doing that." The blonde said, her eyes sparkling.

Chuckling darkly Blyke added: "Sure, and if they don't, then we will just have to make them the new targets of our future pranks!"

Laughing, the two of them went back to Katarina's home, leaving pain and sorrow behind them.

Not much longer after that, they reached John and Katarina's house. Saying goodbye to her friend the girl opened the front door already thinking about her warm bed waiting for her.

As if.

Suddenly she heard her brother scream.

"S-SERA?!"

Without wasting any time Katarina ran in the house, only to find John crounching down on the floor next to a girl with violet hair covered in blood.

"Holy cow! What happened John? Don't tell me you lose it like that time?" Katarina began to panic. If he was the one who hurt that girl, they were in trouble.

"What? No of course not! Seraphina is my friend! I found her lying on the floor just a minute ago."

Okay breath Katarina, he seems really worried. We gotta get ourselves together.

"We need to bring her to the hospital, they will treat her wounds." With that said the girl motioned to lift the uncounscious girl up but her twin stopped her a determined look on his face.

"No, whoever did this might still be looking for her, she came take shelter here and not at the hospital that must mean something. I know who to call."

He then, took the cellphone and push the button 'call'.
