Best Friends, for now

Chapter 2: Random Reports and Skate Fails

    We made our way to the office to get our schedules. The secretary greeted us with warm smiles, I guess she remembers us from last year. She immedediately handed us our schedules.

   

  My Schedule:

     8:30-9:30: AP Chemistry

     9:35-10:35: English 3 Honors

     10:40-11:20: Physical Education

     11:20-12:00: Trigonometry

     12:00-1:00: LUNCH

     1:00-2:00: American History & Government

     2:00-2:45: Free Period

      I have ap chem with Aida, we all have english together, p.e with Rach, trig with Kylie, and american history and gov. with Kassie, and we have free period together. After that the bell rang, luckily we were near our first class, cause everyone was running around, but we didn't get trampled. Our chem teacher is Mr. Jess. He's a pretty cool teacher, unless you get him mad. I heard this rumor from my brother, that he threw a kid out the window for sleeping in his class. Of course it was the first floor, but the principal stays. Yeah, he's cray. Lucily, me and him are cool. Today we had to learn the Diatonic Molecular Therom. Its something about elements, molecules, and natural habitats, or some mumbo jumbo like that I'll get notes from Aida later. Next, up is English 3 Honors ! My favorite subject, which I'm naturaly gifted in. I plan on getting a major in Literature, then becoming a writer, or atleast an actor. I'm in to acting too. Sam wants to be a writer too, but I'm way better. Sure, she writes a bunch of "short stories", but when it comes down to quality I'm a better writter. We walked into Mr. Hale's class.

  

     " Welcome back to class, my young padiwhons. Hope you had a good restful summer, because this year were gonna start off with, drum roll please (drum roll sounds on desks)... a warm up report."

     Que the grouns of agony, and laziness

    "No suprize, and what exactly are these "warm up reports" suppost to be on?" I said in reply

    "Paper of coarse. Ha,Ha,Ha,Ha. I'm hilarious"

     

    "Ha ha, yeah you are, now let me rephrase that. What is the topic for the reports?"

    "Oh, ummm whatever. Just as long as its not anything too bad or inappropriate and make it four pages long and well writen, that's if you want a good grade. Oh and to go along with the report make a power point presentation. Yeah that sounds good"

     Que more grouns but of sadness this time. I hate my classmates your in honors for a reason like Zaymmn.

    "Ok, feel free to work with partners. Happy?"

    "Yes."

     I decided to go lonewolf on this I work better alone anyway. My friends pair up though just like they always do, predictable. l decided to do my report on Bonnie and Clyde, they have always fasinated me. I did contiplate doing the report on Magcon or 5SOS, but that would be taking advantage of Mr. Hale's "whatever". But they will definately be make a guessed apperance in my power point.

   Not long after that it was time to leave but I got eveything planed out, so I'm good.

    We played volleyball in P.E, which I didn't suck at but I wasn't a volleyball scholar I can't say the same for Rach though. Trig wasn't that bad but it was mostly stuff from last year, but i will never understand why we need to know about geometry mixed with algebra. After a lesson that lasted what felt like forever we had lunch, finally.

    We got our lunch and sat down to eat. Today were having spagetti, and it smelt heavenly. Then the guys came, first was Aidas boyfriend Grey, he's a doushbag and I'm pretty sure he has a thing for Sam. Besides that he plays basketball, and he's pretty smart. Then there was Matt, he's super lazy, a huge procrastinater and he skates but he's not a skater, plus im super close to him and hes my best friend who just so happens to be a boy, and Julie and Sam have a huge crush on him for some reason. Hunter, who is a skater and he plays football, not to mention hes hot but is currently dating Julie, yeah dating Hunter yet crushing on Matt. Great job Julie. Finn, he plays lacrosse and football, he's also abit of a nerd. And Jasper, he is an artist/musitian.

  Grey, Aida, Hunter, and Julie started talking about their double date on Friday. Us in the single club just stuffed our faces with spagetti and listen to their convo.

   "So I was thinking we could go to a drive in movie." Grey started

   "Grease style? Really, do those even still exist?" Hunter rebutaled

   "Yes, they still exist, and I think its a great idea babe."

   "Aida's right, I wanna go Hun. Please."

   

   "Ok, whatever only cause you want too"

     Then Hunter started kissing Julie, and I thought it was cute but Rachel almost thew up. She's just jealous. Which she wouldn't be if she took my advice with Finn cause, I think her and Finn would look cute together. Just sayin.

    The rest of lunch consisted of us talking about classes and the boys tryouts. With a bit of hopeless flirting from me and Jasper. After lunch we had American History & Government with Ms. Ryan, who is also known as Coach Ryan, and she teaches P.E. We read about The French Revolution, and told us what we would be doing for the rest of the year.

     Next was our free period which in my mind was leave early but we can't leave the building untill dismissal. So, we put our books away, and walked to the auditorium. Jasper and Matt also had free period now so I attempted to skate on Matts penny board but that didn't work out because right after I was actually riding I hit a loose tile and fell. I layed on the ground expecting someone to help but no one came. So, I got up to see them all just staring at me trying to hold in their laughter. After they burst out laughing Matt told me that my form was wrong and I could have not fallen, as hard as I did, then showed me the correct way. I stepped on to the penny board, Matt fixed my posture and held on to my waist as he walked next to me, which earned me death glares from Julie and Sam. He started off walking but it soon became running.

   "Matt, slow down, are you trying to kill me?"

   "Chill Scar, you'll be fine."

     After our little lesson, the dissmissal bell rung and we made our way towards the exit.

   "Hey Scar." Matt yelled skating towards me

  "Yeah Matt."

  "Uh, can you help me find a topic for the english report."

  "Sure, when do you want me to come over?"

  " 4, I have to help my parents pack."

  " Where are they going?"

  "Arizona, they were gonna bring me but school started early this year, and the tickets are non-refundable, so they took my brother ."

  " Oh, that sucks, but out of curiousity whos staying with you?"

  " Scarlet, I am 16 I do not need a babysitter,…but if you must know my aunt."

  

  " Ok, I'll see you at 4 snuggle bear."

  "Stop calling me that."

  "Never!"
