Silhouette
Silhouette of a man who ruined everything,
The touch and the disgust, in which both I couldn't stop.
Innocence fondled by pain and pleasure,
Hands too rough I pretend to be numb.
All a while, vivid dream becomes a reality
Emerald eyes pulled me away, single boat in a deep ocean
You are just my perfect getaway.
There was fear but there was hope,Sadness and Happiness,
Most of all there was something more intimate,
Vulnerability at its finest. Love at its very best.
Doubt soon hindered my feelings,
Rejection smirked at me maliciously,
I was able to tell a trail of lies.
Lies
Lies
Lies
I don't know how but you saw right through me,
Gave every word up, past spilled hesitantly,
That's when I saw a flicker in your eyes, not of acceptance but of repugnance,
It's because I once told you lies now I got my comeuppance .
But then...
I saw you from a distance, you became that silhouette of a man.
