Third Person's POV:

A child was singing a nursery rhyme. Vincent. He looked about ten. He was dancing in a wide, open field, dandelions, and flowers surrounding him. He had Lambie in one hand, and was holding a girl's hand in the other.

"C'mon, we have to get home before lunch." Vincent said, then started running.

The girl started running after him, but couldn't keep up.

(Y/N) woke up to a person shaking her.

"(Y/N). Wake up, darling. You have to get ready before you go." Aurelia said, then (Y/N) got up, and had a shower.

Once she had a shower, she left her long, (H/C) hair down. She grabbed her bag and went downstairs, where Cook Milah was just serving poached eggs, toast, sausages, bacon, mushroom, and fried tomato. (Y/N)'s favourite.

"So, are you ready to go to Alfaridge today? 'Cause you'll be goin' straight after breakfast." Cook Milah stated.

(Y/N) nodded.

'My bag is packed.' You replied, and Cook Milah nodded.

"Alrigh'." She muttered.

Reader's POV:

Once everyone had been served, I dug into the food, only just remembering my table manners. I heard Cook scoff. I finished quickly, then got up to take care of my plate. As soon as I put my plate away, there was a knock on the door. I sprinted to the door then opened it, and Norman was standing in front of me.

"Are you ready?" He questioned, and I nodded, then I walked over to the foot of the stairs, picked up my bag, and bade everyone Goodbye.

Norman and I walked to the carriage in silence, the coachmen having a conversation Stephelia's parents. I got into the coach, thinking about my dream. What if it was a memory? I'll have to ask William when I see him. If I see him. I got snapped out of my daze when Norm said my name.

'Pardon?' I asked.

Norm started speaking. "We're going to have to be careful when we go and see William. We don't want Victoria's Mum and Dad to get suspicious. Apparently they're in on the 'William Secret' too."

He used finger quotations when he said 'William Secret'.

'Why don't they want me to find out about him.' I asked the pair.

Stephelia was sitting on the seat across from me, and Norman was seated on the floor, well, on our bags which are on the floor. He said it was more comfy than the seats. Stephelia and Norm  just shrugged in response.

"We don't know. But when we do see him, we have to try not to freak him out with all of the questions we're going to ask him." Steph said, and I giggled silently.

Norman rolled his eyes and chuckled.

I Steph turned her head and looked out of the window. I saw a chain around her neck. Norman must have noticed it, too.

"What's that chain for?" He questioned Steph.

She quietly pulled the chain out of her shirt, it was a silver heart pendant.
