chapter two- darkness is truly my light

  The frightened girl looks at me. "sir your scaring me!" she cries. the rain continues to pour down.

I take a step towards her and I say "I've always been diffrent from everyone I've never been able to feel any emotion any feeling.." "I can kill anyone and not feel any remorse, I'm diffrent..." she pulls back farther into the ally, and I follow closer and closer my cold eyes digging deeply into her soul. "I have have a thirst for blood, I want to be in control of everyone, I will kill everyone,and I will become the king of a new world I'll be surrounded by riches." hahaha, I love the look on my victims faces right before they die haha"

"please don't sir!!!" she screams desperately. tears drizzle down her face , and I pick up a medal bar nearby and swing it into her head. you can hear the the skull shattering completely, and she falls to her knees and dies. I look down at her with a empty expression.

  "I now know what my duty is" I whisper "it's to kill everyone and have the earth reborn and I will be the king.." I walk out of the alley pick up the groceries, and then I start to walk home through the rain. I get home and my parents ask why I was late but I don't answer I just put the groceries on the counter and walk upstairs to my room. I lay down and drift off to sleep. I awake in the morning and shuffle downstairs. I pick up the pancake mix and start to make them. after I'm done making them I flop a few of them on to plate drizzle some syrup on and sprinkle some cinnamon on. I walk out into our living room, and flip on the t.v. the news is on. it says

"the police have discovered a homeless girls body in a alley, her skull is shattered." " she died of head trauma."

"police do not know who did this because the rain has washed away all evidence" " but police say the same thing happened four years ago to a girl named Talia Bennett" "she was stabbed to death, but all evidence was washed away by the rain" " are these murders connected?" " or just a coincidence" "next time on sy-rup news!"

"Talia you may cause me some troubles..." I say. I finish up my  my pancakes then I head out to

school. Aubrey is waiting for me at my desk.

"Hey Sam...." she says "I heard there reopening Talia's case" " I know she used to be your friend so I wanted to see if your doing ok..."

"Yeah I am.." I say back.

then I think to myself "if I'm going to kill everyone then...........what about Aubrey..."
