The main floor was still buzzing about the latest news. Apparently, Blogger had overheard Yahoo talking with Google about a new complex member. Since the rumour spread, everyone has been talking about who the twentieth member could be. Facebook was suspecting Snapchat as the newest member, while Blogger and Youtube were considering Twitch. "Why would Snapchat even be considered? It's not even a website. It's an app!" Bing snapped.
Facebook scoffed at his remark. "Who asked you? You're a search engine that no one even cares about. Snapchat is one of the most POPULAR mobile apps out there. Get it, 'popular'? I wouldn't expect someone like you to know, nonetheless."
Bing stepped closer to her, and his attitude meant that he intended to slap her...but before he even had a chance to get that thought through his head, he was held back by Yahoo. "Please, everyone, calm down." She said softly.
Bing mumbled something under his breath and proceeded to push Yahoo away from him. "I don't need you to tell me what to do, of all people..."
Yahoo frowned. He had never really done anything to him. It seems as if the invisible rivalry between Google, Bing, and him has always gotten in the way of both him and Google trying to become close to him. Bing could be really sweet and kind, at least, when he wanted to. A tap on his shoulder broke his train of thought. "Hey, Yahoo, don't mind him. He'll get over it soon." Tumblr whispered.
Yahoo jumped a bit, but then composed himself. "Oh, u-uh, yeah..."
Tumblr blushed a little bit, and started to awkwardly stroke her neon pink hair.
"Is it true?"
"Is what true?"
"I-Is it true we're getting a new complex member?"
Yahoo let out a frustrated sigh. Tumblr's eyes widened, and she looked down at the ground with an embarrassed face. "I'm sorry...I know everyone has been talking about it. You don't have to-"
Yahoo interrupted her sentence. "It's not you, I'm just annoyed about how fast this information spread in such a short amount of time. Yes Tumblr. Google and I have discussed the topic of getting a new member...and before you ask, we don't know who it will be yet."
Tumblr suddenly lit up like a tree during Christmas. "Thanks for answering!" She squealed.
Yahoo gave her a very slight thumbs up, and then he headed to the second floor (which was his) to get away from all of the commotion. YouTube watched Yahoo reside to his floor for the evening so he took this opportunity to make a big video that would definitely go viral in a few hours. Before he performed another one of his dangerously infamous stunts, he walked up to Instagram and gave her a kiss on her cheek. She gasped and immediately retaliated by giving him a punch in his stomach. "Worth it~" YouTube mumbled.
Blogger gave him a thumbs up, as he had recorded the entire scene. "I bet you two haven't even noticed that Cleverbot has gone missing..." Steam pointed out.
YouTube tossed his comment aside. "Does it even matter? She's just some thing that Google created to help him out."
Steam smacked him on the head lightly and then proceeded to poke him on his forehead. "All of that will come back around, and then you'll be known for your mostly negative reviews."
YouTube stuck his tongue out, and left the main floor. All in all, Steam was the only who noticed the disappearance of Cleverbot, rather the only one who actually cared. This occurrence would be one of many that symbolized a really bad time for the future of The Internet Complex and the internet in general.
