'Tis the season
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ஜ۩۞۩ஜ▬▬▬▬▬

The front door slams shut causing Kristov to whip around to see his little sister and and an unfamiliar boy standing at the door holding his father up by his hands and feet.
"You found him." Kris says nonchalantly.
Bentley drops his legs leaving Nev to struggle with keeping Kenny from hitting his head. "We did, behind the dumpster this time." Stepping over her fathers body, Bentley strides into the kitchen and starts filling a bucket up with cold water.
"As long as he wasn't in Mrs.Linguini's yard again." Kris chuckles, walking over to Nev and grabbing his fathers hands from him. "Sup dude." Kris greets, tilting his head upward toward at the awkward boy.
    "Sup—"
"You screwing my sister?" He asks suddenly with zero emotion in his voice.
"Screwing your sister? What— no." Nev says stumbling over his words while shoving his hands in his pocket and observing the worn down house around him.
Kris shrugs,"Not like I care or anything but I'm just curious."  Kris says as he drags his fathers body into the kitchen with little effort and drops his body onto the floor. "He's a pussy."
"Who? Nev?" Bentley asks as she watches the bucket quickly fill with water. "What makes you think that?"
"I ask him if he's screwing you and he starts stuttering like dads old Elvis records." Kris says in a humorous tone.
"He tried to steal Johndy's motorcycle." Bentley argues.
Kris' gives Bentley a questioning look, "What the fuck, and you let him in our house?" Kris whispers.
"Yeah, Johndy is not going to to come here, chill." She reassures her brother, "Plus, I'm sure Johndy remembers getting hit in the head with a baseball bat by Ken."
Kris laughs to himself as he recalls the day Harles pissed off Johndy and then ran back home. Johndy tried to break down the door causing it to nearly break but eventually Ken opened the door and immediately swung the bat, hitting Johndy right upside his head.  "I wonder how that meeting is going for Ken anyway."
    "Me too."

Ken groans as he taps his feet impatiently on the tailed, marble floor. He had been waiting for his meeting all morning, he'd asked more than five people for principal Ramsey and they all gave him the same answer "he will be out shortly." Shortly my ass, Ken thought.  He wanted to possibly make it to work in time, he couldn't afford to miss any more days. With Kenny gone, Ken was the only one working in the house and if he got laid off then it would take a while to get back on their feet.
Ken throws his hands in the air in frustration, "Where the fuck is Ramsey. I've been out here for two damn hours."
"Ken, calm down, the meeting starts at Eleven and it's only 10:30." Harles says as he makes a swiping motion with his finger across the screen of his phone.
"Only 30 minutes, huh?" Ken quizzes before snatching Harles' phone from his hands.
Harles tries to reach for his phone but Ken uses his height to his advantage by holding the phone above his head. "Ken, what the hell is wrong with you."
"I'll give it back as soon as Ramsey gets out here." Ken glances at Harles' phone screen noticing what he was doing before he took it "Why the fuck are you on Tinder?" Ken whispers angrily to his little brother.
Harles scoffs, "Tinder is for the public."
"Tinder is for 40 year olds like Johndy who have nothing else going for them, not 15 year old boys like you who have not even grown pubic hair yet."
"I have loads of pubic hair for your information." Harles retorts as he slumps down in his chair and crosses his arms.
"Sure you do." Ken nearly jumps out of his pants when he sees principal Ramsey walk into the main office area.
"Ken?" Mr. Ramsey asked in a surprised tone, "Where is your father?"
"You know my dad, I just filled in for him this time. Is there any way we can make this meeting quick." Ken stared down at his watch worriedly, "I'm trying to make it to work."
"Sure, just step into my office and we can get you out as soon as you were in." Ramsey says cheerfully.
"I've been in here for two hours, Ram." Entering Ramsey's office Ken instantly smells the familiar smell of coffee beans and vanilla. Ramsey was Kens principal when he was in school and even then he suspected that his principal was in the closet. No man just burns random vanilla candles for their own enjoyment, Ken thought.
"I'm sorry about that, I had another meeting this morning." Ramsey sits down in his chair behind his desk while sipping on his cold coffee. "Please, Ken, take a seat." He says gesturing to the chair on the other side of his desk.
Ken sits down and let's out a sigh of annoyance as he notices he is 15 minutes away from being late. "So what is the issue?" Ken asks as calmly as possible.
"Well, it seems to be that both Florence and Harles have been acting up in class." Ramsey starts, "and it is causing a disturbance to the children around them."
Ken stares at the balding principal blankly, "Is that all?"
"No, actually, they have also been getting into altercations with each other in the hallways."
Ken pinched the bridge of his nose, "With all do respect, Ram, when you put high schoolers in the same school as middle schoolers what do you expect?"
"I expect you to discipline them at home so they don't come to school acting like wild animals." Ramsey defends.
"Look," Ken leans toward the principal, "I don't want anymore of your bullshit parent letters unless one of my wild animals has stabbed a kid or threatened to blow up this sorry excuse of a school." Ken stalks out of the door quickly before principal Ramsey can say anything and grabs Harles.
"That was a short meeting." Harles says as soon as they step out into the cold winter air.
Ken scans the road for anybody he might know with a car, "Yeah, um, can you handle walking home alone? I really need to head to work."
"I thought you were taking the day off?" Harles yells as he watches his brother run over to Mrs. Lingwini's car.
"Can't afford that." He yells back, "Go straight home!"
