"Are you sure St. Homing? I thought you'd be the last person to do that! You're saying you give up your status as a god and reduce yourself to a human?!" One of the older Celestial Dragons protested. My family and I where by the edge of a dock. Opposite us was the Donquixote clan. My cousins, uncles, aunts, all of them, even supposed relatives I never saw, had disgusted looks on their faces.

"I am human. Since I was born." My father calmly stated. What he said caused an uproar among the huge crowd of prestigious elites. "Are you saying we are too?!" one exclaimed. Then the Celestials at the back also started to protest my father's bewildering decision. Roci felt unease from our angry 'kinsfolk' and held on to mother tightly. While I, the first son of St. Holming Donquixote, proudly stood with my father facing against these blabbering buffoons. What are they so flustered about? What's wrong with leaving home?

It took months for the said preparation of what father explained to us as a 'travel down to the human world' move. It was a bit odd because the slaves were all packing our valuable items. Father was always on the phone talking to someone about arranging a home where we will reside. Mother kept quiet about it and looked worried most of the time. A few informed relatives briefly visited to ramble on about father's decision. Personally, I was a bit excited myself. Until the whole clan showed up protesting against us.

"I don't care what you think. Humans are wonderful. It's way more satisfying to live as a human. That's how I think." Father said with a wise tone. I looked up at his stature, he stood tall and strong. I always liked how father kept his words and had an unwavering principle. I didn't understand what he meant but it didn't receive good feedback from our clan. They all shouted curses and rebuked us of the Donquixote name.

"Get out of Mariejois now!"

We boarded the ship along with most of our possessions. The officer in charge of the boat welcomed us with an ominous smile and he then sailed us down to the human world. Hours have passed, I grew bored doing nothing in our private cabin. So, I invited my little brother for us to visit the deck to have a look at where we currently were. Roci and I were at awe at the never-ending stretch of blue sea. It was so vast the horizon was far from reach! I recalled the stories father told us from this world. All the exciting adventures that lie ahead in the far horizon. I heard Roci giggle with glee, but I wasn't the least interested. I never yearned for anything from this world. I just want to live my life as an elite, as a Celestial Dragon.

"Is thi..this..only a t..trip, Doffy?" Roci questioned, interrupting my train of thought. "I think it's only a short vacation." I confidently replied. It better be.

We landed at the North end. The officer described the country as a non-member nation of the World Government. "Be wary." He jokingly remarked. I felt that something was not right. The officer's sinister smile said it all. It's like he knows something that I don't. Whatever. He's just being a jerk like the rest of the Celestial Dragons we faced earlier.

The escorts carried our things to a small mansion. It wasn't as big and as grandiose as our home at Mariejois. Its design is simple. The frontyard's too small. There isn't anything luxurious about it. So much for a vacation.

"Let's live a humble life here, all four of us as a family." Father announced as we walked in the mansion. Why should we change the way we live? And that word, Humble. Humble? What does he mean by that? Sounds like a funny word. But then I was appalled at father for ordering us to unpack the things ourselves! Where are our slaves?!

"Let the slaves put away the stuff eh. If there aren't any let's go buy some." I strongly suggested. My father must be getting old, he seems forgetful of his status as a Celestial Dragon. I heard my father sigh weakly. "We have to teach you from scratch." he said.

Father let us roam around the mansion grounds for a while. I was kinda enjoying this short stay in the human world, until father asked me to do outrageous demands! He first took off our oxygen tank. The air wasn't poisonous, but breathing around the same air as the humans was lunacy! I choked and gasped for air when father removed mine. He just gave a chuckle and told me to quit the act. To my dismay, he then ordered us to stay still as mother cut off our heavenly buns that reside at the top of our heads; a hair style which is the prestigious symbol of an elite! Lastly he clothed us with human clothing! "It's to look humble." he said. Father kept telling us that we will stay like this for the rest of our lives. I was distraught. I was confused. What is this?! What is he doing? This is not what Celestial Dragons do?!

I looked in the mirror and was stunned. I carefully studied the figure in front of me. A melancholic figure stood not more than 2 ft tall. He looked lost and out of place from where he is. His gold coated hair and dark shades at first glance was a striking trait of his. Hiding beneath is his piercing ice blue eyes, secretly judging you. It took a few seconds for me to realize that it was my reflection.

I looked underprivileged! I looked weak! I looked.... Human.

What has become of me?

"I don't wanna wear theese- I look like a slave!" I ranted. I untangled the red tie around my neck and tried to get out of my clothes but mother stopped me. I looked around to find Roci to see if he is also suffering the same fate. I saw him by the chest and he looked bubbly as always. Not a care in the world with this kid. Great. I got no back up.

"Doffy we are gonna live as humans from now on." Father insisted as he fixed my clothing. Humans? Why humans? "We'll lead a life far richer than the life in Mariejois. What I mean by rich is not having so many things. It's about heart." He said with a warm smirk. There he goes again with his signature smile. What's he talking about now? Are there other things in this world far richer than a Celestial?

As if reading my mind, Father then added "I'll teach you about it later. let us first buy food for our dinner."

It had been a long time since I last published. I was busy with other things. Anyways here is a long chapter to recover the time I loss. What keeps me motivated is the good readers and publishers who give their time to read my story. It has been a great pleasure guys!

In this chapter, Doffy got a little irritating. Hey, if you were raised as an elite and now find yourself in a poor financed area, of course you get your veins to pop and your hair to rise up. hhahaha

And don't forget, feel free to comment below on any critical points or on how you feel. Thank you and I hope you continue reading. :D
