I leaned back in my chair, groaning at the pain that had been steadily growing in my neck. I rubbed feircly at the cramp before settling back into the cushioned seat and looked down at the crap that was in front of me. I re-read the page and a half of pure essay brain mush. Honestly I don't know who thought it was a good idea to do a whole essay about reincarnation after death.

I mean, what's the point? Not like we know for sure what's going to happen after we die. Maybe we don't have a soul, maybe we do. Perhaps we just float along in an endless darkness for eternity.

There's too much thinking that goes into these kinds of topics.

I rubbed my temple, I could already feel the pounding pain of a massive headache coursing through my head.

I needed some fresh air. I sighed.

I stood up suddenly, pushing the chair back, causing a screech of wood on wood to sound though the quiet room.

"You know what, I'm going for a walk." I watched as my fellow college mate glanced at me before snorting out a, "Have fun with that," Before returning to her own computer, giving it her attention yet again.

I always hated sharing my personal space with people, even when i was younger.

I gazed at the larger than me female who was bent over the desk, studying much like what I had been doing. She was pretty in a bland way, plain brown hair and mud brown eyes. She was a lot more normal looking than me.

I had silver hair with brown eyes, which is perfect for others to point out and bully me for.

I personally think my appearance is lame but many others disagree with me and say I'm rather attractive, though it was a bit different during grade school.

I walked outside the little dormroom, closing the doors and locking them behind me.

Slowly walking down the paved road until I saw the beginning of the forest, trees clustered close together with the smell of clean air radiating from them. I wasn't that far from society considering there was a main road right next to me with cars driving past.

I couldn't help but frown at the passing vehicles, all these people, just, living their lives like robots. They never see what's in front of them until its gone. That's what was happening with my forest, my poor forest.

A sigh escaped me before i continued wandering across the road and into the small walkways between the buildings, there was a cute little coffee shop I wanted to go to. It wasn't that far away, only two roads away from where I was currently standing. The road I needed to be on was Roy Ave. Which was across from Marie Rd. That was intersected Saint St. I was on Lock Rd. Which was parallel to Saint St. I sighed once again. Roads were confusing.

I continued on my adventure, crossing onto Saint St. before coming to a stop at the road crossing that lead into Marie Rd. The crossing light turned into the red hand sign a second before I was about to cross. I let out a panicked breath before stepping back on the pavement.

Suddenly I noticed something. A cute dog was walking across the street and the light was still red so the cars hadn't moved. I could feel myself start to run at the dog, stretching to push the innocent creature out of the way of the big death machines as pure instinct took control. I felt myself trip on something and fall, scrapping away skin on my arms and legs, i cussed quickly, cursing my clumsiness. All that mattered at the moment was getting this dog to safety though. I let out a happy laugh as the dog ran off the street, probably scared of my run to it. In the corner of my view I saw the light turn green and a car was fast approaching. I could see the light in the cab, they were on their phones. They didn't even notice me laying in the road.

I saw lights fill up my view of the world and the car grill sped at me fast as I half sat up from my laying position in the middle of the lane.

I screamed as I felt the impact of the car hit me straight on. Unfreezing the frozen world.

And then everything went black.
