chapter 3

"hey lucy are you done yet?"i heard natsu yelled from outside the bathroom 

i was stalling so i would not have to swim.i was so scared, sting caused my injury to my legs so i can't run or swim right ever again.i sat on the counter thinking. most of the girls were making out with boys in here and it was making me uncomfortable. i hopped down from the counter and went out to natsu.

"finally."he winned

i laughed slightly.he walked me to where our towel was and set my stuff down.he grabbed my hand and jogged to the water's edge. once my feet hit the water i froze all the memories came back in a blink of an eye, haunting, terrorising me.i looked at natsu, he nodded his head a bit. i stepped forward till i was up to my waist in the water.it felt good to be in water again, to feel the sand on my feet, to feel the wind on my face.natsu disappeared into the water.i stayed where i was not wanting to go anywhere but where i was.

"hey blondie." a teasing voice said behind me.i turned to reveal lisanna and a black haired girl.

i did not talk to them only followed what natsu told me to do,"ignore her, and stay away she will only hurt you." his voice rang in my head over and over.

"i'm talking to you."she said and a sharp pain came to my face multiple times.my feet swept from under me and i was submerged into the water.i was pushed out into deep water where i never dared to go even when i was little. i went further down my life flashing before my eyes. my first birthday. my first time meeting natsu. when natsu and i almost died. when we were forced into an engagement.everything was going black, my whole life, everything being ripped away as if a shreds being ripped off clothes.my back hit the ground with that everything was gone only sunlight was visible to me nothing else. the air i had left was slowly being ripped away as well.i closed my eyes and waited for death to come upon me.

"lucy wake up. one..two..three"a voice as soft and a kitten filled my ears. was i alive or was i dead? 

i slowly opened my eyes to see whose voice it was.blur of pink and red was rolling around in my vision.

"lucy can you hear me?"he asked "can you see my?"he asked again

natsu face became most precise and focused.his eyes were red and puffy. face tear stained. his hair sparked with the tiny water droplets the glistened in it.

"natsu is that you?"i asked sitting up a bit.even though i knew it was natsu he needed to heard my voice again.after i scared him half to death.

he pulled me into a hug as if i was going to disappear if he let me go. i wrapped my arms around his body.

"you scared me i thought i was going to lose you. it scared me i thought i was never going to get to you in time. when your eyes started to close i thought i lost you."he was crying again.

i ran my hands up and down his back till he stopped crying, but tears started running down my face. natsu's grip tightened around me his head rested upon mine and we sat there till both of us stopped crying, comforting each other when we stopped.

"hey lets go back."he said getting up

i nodded.well two plans went down the drain.i got up and followed.we went back to the blanket natsu had asked me to stay with our stuff.i looked around at the water the sun was already setting.

"hey beautiful want to go somewhere?"a voice said behind me

i turn to face an unfamiliar boy a few feet away.i stood up and backed up.i shook my head answering his question.i looked around trying to find natsu before this escalates.
