Married at Eighteen

chapter 6

lucy's pov

i woke up at the alarm. damn it, i'm late. i jumped out of bed and ran to my dresser. i pulled out my uniform and got changed quickly. i ran down stairs and grabbed a piece of bread and put it in the toaster. i ran to the bathroom and fixed my hair.when i heard the toaster pop i ran back and gobbled to toast down.i went to brush my teeth and put my shoes on.

everyone else was gone.NO ONE BOTHERED TO WAKE ME UP!

i ran out to my car.i put everything in the back and started the car.

"BOO!" i jumped in my seat and almost had a heart attack  "are you ok you look awful."natsu said

"well if you had waken me up on time."i said

"well i set your clock back and you are right on time."he said smiling

i looked down at the clock.i unbuckled my seatbelt and got out of the car.he did the same knowing he would drive for this.

"what did you do last night?"i asked walking past him

he closed the door for me and walked to his side..

"nothing much."he said

i looked out the window as we drove to school.we pulled in the parking lot and sting and lisanna were together staring at us like we were food.natsu came around to my side and opened the door. i got out and natsu pulled me right to his side.we walked passed them and lisanna laughed.natsu walked me all the way to my our lockers. we grabbed our stuff and went to homeroom. we waited through attendance and announcements. mr guildart dismissed us to our next class. pretty soon it was time for lunch. natsu and i meet up with erza and jellal and went to eat lunch on the roof.

"so natsu when is the next meeting?"jellal asked natsu

i looked at natsu confused natsu never went to the meeting about the business.

" everyone else is coming here and we are going to arrange for me to take over." he said smiling.

"lucy.....lucy are you listening?" erza asked

i nodded. "it seem you are more interested in natsu's life than your own."

"well his is more interesting. i know you know about him and i'm fascinated on how that happened."i said looking her in the eyes.

"well anyway when is the date?for the wedding?" she asked

"oh yeah i forgot erza can you be my maid of honor and the wedding is next week."i said

when i said the date out loud i was surprised it came so soon.erza jumped out of her seat, she cheered and hollered. the lunch bell rang and we all went back inside to our next class.

natsu and i went to get our bags.we turned the corner and sting was at my locker and lisanna was behind him.natsu pulled me behind him a little bit. all the worst case scenarios were going through my head. we reached my locker and nobody said a word.i walked out from behind natsu and went to my locker.

"excuse me" i said undoing my lock. i heard natsu chuckle and sting growl.i grabbed my bag and keys. i closed and locked my locker and went back to natsu.

"stay here."he said

i stayed right where i was.natsu walked to his locker and told sting to move.

"lucy how does he treat you?"sting asked me

"like a person he care about."i spat at him. two hands were on my arms the touch was unsettling.

"really looks like he takes his anger out on you."sting said lifting my sleeves.

i pulled my arm back. "he never hurt me unintentionally." i turned to sting. "natsu would never ever hurt me."

i looked back at natsu. he was looking at my arms. shocked.

"the worst part is he has no idea he was hurting you."sting whispered in my ear.

---flash back---

i pushed natsu off the bed and ran into the bathroom. geez demons are rough. i looked at my arms and stomach. they were covered in blooming bruises. i grabbed my counselor and covered them.i went back out and natsu was lying on the bed looking at the ceiling. i crept over to the bed and jumped on him. we both laughed but he was serious all of a sudden.

"lucy did i hurt you?"he asked

"no natsu."i said matching his seriousness.

he rolled over on top of me and tickled my till i fell off the bed. again.

---end of flashback---

i pulled my sleeves back down.natsu walked toward me. sting pulled me back and i banged into the locker.

"leave her alone."natsu said getting ready to punch him.sting yanked me in front of him. natsu's fist stopped inches from my face.

"now natsu we are taking little lucy with us but please remain calm we are not going to kill her just so experimenting."lisanna said walking to natsu and caressing his face.

natsu's hair grew darker his eyes glowed red. the black tattoos went up his arm. his finger nail grew into talons. his voice was scratchy and way deeper.

"natsu don't let him take control!" i yelled trying to get away from sting.

natsu shot a fireball at us. sting jumped out of the way but he left me there my legs would not move. did natsu just try to kill me or sting? the fireball grew closer with no time to move it hit me. i flew into another locker and broke the wall and piece broke off the ceiling and (my luck is terrible) was going to fall on me. i prepared for impact but nothing happened. natsu was holding the ceiling. i got up and stood infront of natsu.

"please natsu this is not you. i want MY natsu back."i said tears overwhelming my eyes.

"lucy."he said voice was turning back to normal his hair lightened up, talons back into nails. natsu was back. i ran into him with full force. i wrapped my arms around him like if i let go he would disappear
