chapter 5

natsu's pov

'hey what's up where are you?" he asked

"i need your help came to the old cherry tree and quickly lucy's life depends on it and bring mira."i said then hung up.

"i'm sorry natsu."her weak voice whispered far too quiet for a normal person to hear.

"it's not your fault she threatened you, i just wish you told me the truth."i said but quickly dismissed it.i put my free hand in hers and stayed with her till laxus, grey and jellal came.

"what happened?"jellal asked

"i'll explain later just help me we need to get her to my parents hospital."i said

"can't you heal her!"laxus yelled

"no i can't!"i yelled back tears coming to my eyes. my powers right now only worked on small thing such as burns and cut but not life threatening stab wounds. jellal went to get my car and the girls.i picked up lucy and laxus and i ran to the hospital.

once we got there they told us all the rooms were already occupied. she must be new cause all the other nurses said hello and asked what happened but i waevd them off.

"i am natsu dragneel my father is your boss can i have a room?"i said

she nodded her head and brought us to a vip room which are for special care patients.

"i'll get her the doctors."the nurse said

30 seconds later 10 people come in and wheel lucy out of the room.i followed as far as i could but they stopped me and told me to put his funny suit on.once i was in the suit they asked me to get lucy in a robe like the kind you wear when you go to the doctors.i shook my head and erza burst into the room.

"erza can you change lucy into this?"i asked. she nodded and pushed me out of the room. erza came out and brought me back in. all the doctors were tending to lucy. red was a dominant color while i was watching. after about an hour they wheel lucy out hooked up to an iv and air pump.i took off the suit and walked into the room after everyone left.

"lucy are you ok?"i asked sitting down next to her.

"yeah i think so, when do we leave?"she asked

"a few hours when we get home i'll heal the wound now that it is stitched up."i said holding her hand.

a doctor walked in with a clipboard.

"hello mr dragneel, mr heartfilia. i have good new and bad news."he said

"bad new first."i answered his indirect question

"ok there is a possibility that she may never bare a baby, and the good news is that, the information we have now can change and she will be able to have a baby." the doctor said

"why."i asked

"well the stab wound went down and the cut went too far."he said. he turned and walked out.

i put my hand on my face. i was annoyed and angry. why would someone attack lucy?i got up and walked out of the room.

"natsu.. i'm sorry i screwed everything up."lucy's soft whisper rang through my ears. i turned back to face her.

"no i screwed everything up."i said turning again to walked out.i was not mad at lucy i was mad at whoever hurt her.i went outside and walked down the street. i could not get what the doctor said out of my head. i walked to the nearest park and sat down on a bench.tears came to my eyes at the thought of how lucy is taking this.my phone buzzed.

hey you coming back it's been 2 hours their letting her out now

i got up and ran back to the hospital.once i got into lucy's room erza had her dressed and ready to go.i help lucy to the car. erza went back with laxus.i pulled into the driveway and every one was in front of the door. i went to lucy's side and helped her out. i walked her passed the crowd and into her room.i heard everyone behind the door.

"everyone go away."i said sternly

their footsteps scattered.i went into lucy's bathroom and got out a bottle that was labeled soron i pulled the bottle out and got a cloth. i went back to lucy, she looked confused, i sat down next to her and poured the liquid no the cloth.i pulled her shirt up a little bit till i could see the stitches. i put the cloth on the wound and waited a few minutes.i took the cloth off and all that was left was a scar.

"you feel ok?"i asked her

"yeah can i get up and move around now?"she asked back

i nodded and chuckled a bit. i walked down stairs and went to see everyone and answer questions they might have so lucy is not pounded.as soon as my pink spiky hair popped out from around the corner they all went nuts.

"is she ok?"

"what happened?"

"what did you do?!"

they pounded me with questions

"she is fine.nothing you need to worry about. i did nothing."i said

we all sat down. we put on another movies since lucy and i missed the first. after about half an hour i went to check up on her.

"hey are you ok?"i asked walking into her room

her hand was on her stomach. she was looked down.

lucy pov

i messed everything. now natsu won't become the head of his family. i ruined his life, lisanna is going to kill me natsu's going to kill her,everything is a mess.i looked up when natsu walked in front of me.

"lucy you know who stabbed you, who was it?"he asked sitting next to me.

"lis..lisanna."i said.

natsu face grew darker. he knew something i did not. the alarm clock started beeping which meant it was time to go hit the hay.i got up and went to the door natsu did not follow nor make ony kind of a sound.

i went down the stairs and down the long hallway to where everyone was. the movie was playing but everyone was passed out. i grabbed blanket from the closet and covered everyone.i bent down to pick up the remote and a sharp pain swelled over me. i fell to the ground holding where my wound had been. the darkness crept over me. maybe i was too tired? maybe i fainted?

"come on you are over tired." a soft and gentle.

he laid me down on my bed and set the alarm.he kissed my forehead and wished me a good night.

"i will be back soon get some rest and if anything happens call for anyone in the house.they are just as powerful as i am if not more."he said walking away.i quickly jumped up and grabbed his arm.

"natsu please stay!"i said

his eyes grew wide and his face was surprised.

"i was so scared, thankyou, you saved my life. when she said to go meet her i was going to ask you to follow but then she threatened to kill wendy and i decided not to tell you.i did not know how this was going to turn out. if i would die or not." the tears were welling up in my eyes.

he sat down beside me. "lucy it will be ok i won't let her hurt you again and always tell me if someone makes a threat." he stroked my hair until i fell into darkness.
