natsu's parents left and so did mine. zerif was nowhere to be found. natsu was wrapping my burns he was being so gentle. we did not say anything to each other. natsu finished wrapping my burns and turned to walk away. i jumped up and grabbed his shirt.

"please stay."i whispered.

he must have heard me because he picked me up and took me with him.i laid my head on his chest he hugged me closer to his body. his soft lips kissed the top of my head.

"nat-" i was interrupted by him

"lucy please don't take with the burns on your face."he said

i nodded. he sat down on the couch and snuggled me into his arms.his soft pink hair fell by my eyes. the burns hurt every time i moved my face but i could not let natsu know that.he shuffled and i winced in pain when my face hit his chest.

"i knew it lets go."he said picking me up.

"where and i can walk."i said crossing my arms carefully.

natsu put me down and walked me to the car.he helped me in and buckled me in the car then shut the door.when we got the hospital it was dragneel inc hospital.i looked at natsu whose expression was blank.my burnt hand was rested on my normal hand, i was looking out the window. people are in much worse conditions than i am and we are going to get first priority because he is a dragneel.the car came to a sudden stop.i jerked forward.

"sorry lucy but he won't move." natsu said pointing to a blond boy our side the car.

i looked down both of us had no time for this, for stings little games.i looked at natsu who looked angry, like angrier than he usually is when he sees sting. the blond boy walked to my window. his hand balled into a fist and punched the window.it did not shatter any where, it just cracked a bit. natsu pulled me back when sting punched again.

"hello dad yeah we have a problem by the hospital. thanks bye."natsu got off the phone and pulled me onto his lap. a bunch of guards were running out of the building. the last time sting punched he broke the glass. his hand unlocked the door and he opened it. natsu's back was facing sing and i was inside of natsu. natsu's body started to moved back and forth then he would jerk forward.

"come on natsu you can fight better than this you do fight better than this."sting said

"i'm sorry lucy."natsu whispered into my ear then he was gone. he reappeared in front of sting. they moved at lightning speed. flashes of pink and yellow danced across my vision.

"miss lucy please come with us." a guard said threw the broken window. i nodded and got out of the car. all the guard formed a circle around me and it was impossible to look thru.

"that is enough!" a booming voice said. it was dark and cold but full of power. natsu and sting both froze and bowed.natus ran over to me and put a hand around my waist.i froze at natsu's touch. he looked at my hurt.

"lucy i can.."i cut him off

"what are you?"i asked scared. not know what he was frightened me, if he is still natsu, was even more so.

"lucy i'm a demon."he said letting go and backing up.i was stunned, shocked, but not scared natsu had protected me for so many years so many times. he almost died for me. he was still natsu and what he is will never change that. i slowly walked toward him. he froze as if not to scare me.when i reached him i put both my hands on his face.
