(Dark's p.o.v)

"I need to get out of this house". I grumble to as I get up from the couch. It's almost midnight, my favorite time. One cause it's beautiful at night, especially if it's a completely clear sky. And two, cause everyone else is usually asleep. I can actually just sit in silence for a bit.

Stepping through the sliding door, onto the back patio I stretch and take a deep breath of the cool night air. My attitude changes from slightly annoyed and bored to a completely relaxed calm. Looking up I see the tens of thousands of stars that speckle the sky. The crescent moon gives off an incredible amount of light, illuminating the yard in soft light.

As I walk over to a deck chair I see the ladder up against the house. "Ha, Sean forgot to put that away." I chuckle and go over thinking to put it away. But once I'm by it, I look up at the roof, then start to climb. Once I'm standing up there, I look about as the wind blows my hair in my face. On the peak of the roof, turned away from me, is Anti, his dark green hair giving him away. Not wanting him know I'm here, I quietly climb up to the peak, on the opposite side of the house from him, and sit cross legged on the rough shingles.

I could sleep out here. It's too nice to stay inside. I would stay up here, except for the possibility of rolling off. I look over at Anti, who doesn't seem to have noticed me yet, though knowing him he probably has. The wind takes the green hair and throws it into his face. With a hand he combs it out of his eyes, the moon's soft light falling on his face. Once again the wind repositions his hair. This time with a quiet grumble, he smooths it away. I silently chuckle, he really does need a hair cut.

Pulling my legs out from under me, I lay back, propping my head up with my hands and closing my eyes. I can almost taste the air, it has that weird sweetness to it. A stronger breeze comes my way, blowing the black floof of hair I have, to fall directly onto my face. I don't try to move it, the wind will only mess it up again. A few seconds later I hear a quiet chuckle. "You too aye?" I open my eyes and peek through the whisks of hair to see Anti standing above me. "Mind if I join ya?" He asks, motioning to the space next to me. "Go ahead." I tell him, then close my eyes again. I near him scuffle on the shingles a few times before settling into a comfortable spot.

A few seconds of silence pass, I open my eyes and look over at him. He's laying on his back, arms limply crossed, and eyes glued to the sky above. His eyes softly glow green, along with his face, a pale white. A small streak of light catches my attention. A shooting star flies past in a split second then is gone. Closing my eyes again I take a deep breath, the sweet summer night air filling my lungs.

Hearing soft movements from beside me, I turn to see that Anti had turned to his side, facing me, his eyes closed. I smile at the sight of him falling asleep. He's not usually this calm, this is a different side that doesn't show all that often. A few seconds later I hear his steady, deep breathing, signaling that he was finally asleep.

Turning to face him I wrap my arms around and feel him stiffen for a second before burying his face up against my chest. I rest my chin on the top of his head, the long strands of green tickling my face. Brushing the hair away with my face I lean my cheek against his head and close my eyes, letting sleep overtake me.

(A\N this is what happens when it's after one am but you refuse to go to sleep.) ^.^
