(Anti's p.o.v)

"Are you asleep?" I turn around to see Dark standing next to the couch. "Nope." I mumble, rolling back over. "Didn't think so. I've never seen you actually sleep." "I don't remember the last time I did." I reply. "Really? Its been that long?" "Yup." I mumble, burrowing under the blanket I had wrapped around me. "Wow." Dark says. "How, does that even work? I mean we both don't really need sleep. But eventually it's needed, at least it is for me." "Insomnia is both a friend and enemy." I mumble from under the blanket. "How do you recharge, or whatever." "I don't, or I just pass out." "So you pretty much just go, till you literally drop from exhaustion. Sounds fun." I only give a grunt for my response. "When was the last time you even tried to sleep, honestly sounds batter then passing out." Dark quietly chuckles. I turn over and shrug. "I don't try, there is no point, I just don't sleep. I've been up for about five days now." Dark's eyes widen. "Wow, what's your longest?" "Um... Maybe two weeks, and I was out for like an entire day." "That's it? I'd probably be out for a good week after that." "Eh, I really don't care anymore. It is what it is, I just don't sleep. Would love to, I see that I helps others, but whatever." I say. It is actually annoying to see others sleep just fine and I'm going days on end unable to sleep.

"Don't mind my...uh, whatever it's called, inquiry. But how did you try?" "To sleep?" I ask, and he nods. "Um...I...don't. I, don't remember how." "Been that long. How come you don't try again." "Like I said, it doesn't happen, plus I didn't know how." I chuckle, realizing how weird that sounds, to say that I don't know how to sleep. "Sounds stupid don't it." I ask. "What." "Saying that I don't know how to sleep. It's like a natural thing, right?" "Yea, well I guess some just don't work that way, obviously." "Or it's the fact that I don't try, it's now a habit to stay up." I shrug. "That, is a possibility." Dark says, then smirks. "Well, never thought I'd say this, but do you want to know how? Maybe it will help." "I don't know." I say, seeing no point in it. "Never know till you try." He says, holding out his hand. I take it and let him pull me off the couch. "I'm not gonna be going to sleep anytime soon. Mark decided to start writing some script, and wants me to help. So you can use my bed, I honestly feel an all nighter coming on." Dark chuckles, pushing open his bedroom door. "And here we are talking about how I never sleep, here you are doing it too." "Yea well, maybe you can change that. Just try to stay comfortable, and close your eyes." "I can try." I chuckle. "Try to block everything else out too." He says, shutting the door quietly behind me.

I let my eyes adjust to the darkness before I wander too far, not wanting to run into anything. Sleep. It's a foreign concept to me. I haven't even been in, or on a bed for a long time, except for Sean's, when we are just hanging out, but that doesn't count. Back at home I don't even have a bed, I have no use for it so why have one. I fall face first onto the blankets, curling up in a ball. Well...now that I'm here...what next. He said to be comfortable, close my eyes, and block everything out. I'm all of those right now. Maybe not the blocking part, though what am I blocking out? There is no noise except the random quiet sounds of an AC, but it's not loud. Or does that count as something to block out. I don't know.

For the next few hours I just lay there, sleep far from me. Finally at about three am, I give up, pull out my phone and mess around, passing time like I would normally do. A notification comes in telling me I had a text from Dark. 'You are supposed to be sleeping...?' I chuckle and respond. 'Tried. Failed.' He never responds, so I go about my business.

"Doesn't look like you are trying." I look up and see Dark. "Just got on." I say, waving the phone at him. "Fine." He says, rolling his eyes and walks to the other side of the bed and climbs in, covering himself completely with blankets and pillows. I go back to the phone, once again wrapped up in the world (chaos) of tumblr and other social medias.

"Whatcha doing?" Dark asks, his head next to me, watching as I grow bored of everything, tapping in and out of stuff trying to find something to do. "Literally nothing." I grumble. "Let me have that." Dark says, taking my phone. "Hay, what?" I ask. "Shush. You are supposed to sleep. That phone is not going to help." He says, putting it on the table next to the bed. The phone goes to sleep, the room once again completely dark. "Not sure if this is even-" "Shut up." "Dark-" "Anti." He chuckles and I groan. "Close your damn eyes, I can see them opened. There is a light shade of green on the ceiling." He says. I do, and roll over, facing the edge of the bed. "Now what." "Now you wait." "Another four hours? No thanks?" I chuckle, sitting up, ready to just give up on trying to sleep.

"No you don't." Dark says, pulling me back. "Aye, let go." I yelp, pulling his hand off my arm. "Nu-uh" he says, wrapping both arms around me, and dragging me back down. "Dark! Let go!" "Nah." He says, holding me down as I struggle to get out of his grasp. And I almost do, except that he decided to pin me down by laying on me. "What the fuck? Get off!" I laugh, pushing myself up trying to get him to roll off, but I can't move. At all. "How...?" I growl. "You aren't that fat. Are you?" I ask, but no matter what I do, I just can't move. Dark chuckles as I look up. "You asshole!" I exclaim, seeing that he had been using his wings to push up against the ceiling. No wonder I couldn't move. He rolls off, keeping his arms around me, laughing. "What is this?" I chuckle, prying away one hand only to have it put back when I go to take the other off.

Finally I just relax, and see if he would just let go if I stopped struggling. The exact opposite happened, he tightened his grip but only for a second. "Go to sleep." "Stop telling me that." I chuckle. "It's like telling a fish to fly." "Some do." No, they jump out of the water, they don't actually fly." I retort. "Whatever." He says, pulling me to him. I decide to relax and let him, finding it to be nice, in a slightly weird way.

"So. You can sleep." "Huh?" I mumble, covering my face with a blanket only to have it ripped out of my grasp, light flooding into my face. "What, do I have to show you how to wake up too?" Dark laughs, pushing me. "No...go away..." I mumble, rolling over, my mind in a state of confusion. What the fuck is he talking about? Why do I feel...like this? "What happened?" I mumble, finally sitting up. "You actually fell asleep." "I feel like a train hit me." I grumble. "That happens sometimes, but it will go away." Dark says, walking out of the room. I groggily look around and realise that I'm in his room. Then it all comes back to me, the haze in my brain dissipating.

I actually slept...and it feels both good... and like I just got tenderized by a screaming child.

(A\N- My brain wouldn't let me continue after that last sentience...but it's a good ending anyway...I think...eh, probably not. Just imagine Anti getting beat by a screaming two year old...)
