Act 4- Part 8

( Handyman's Office)

( Nicolas's P.O.V.)

" He has really latched onto you, hasn't he?" Miss Cristiano asked Alex as she sighed softly to the baby we found the night of the massacre at Bastard.

" Yea," Alex said softly. " I would take him in, but I doubt Worick and Nicolas wouldn't like it. Beside's, I don't think I'm ready-"

" I wouldn't mind," I told her. " I wouldn't be able to hear it." 

" Oh, that's right." Alex said as she rubbed the right side of her head with her right palm. 

" Are you taking the medication that Doctor Theo gave you still?" Miss Cristiano asked Alex as she sat down.

" I stopped because I stopped seeing Berry," She told us as the baby gripped Alex's left index finger. " Guess I'll have to start taking it again."

( Alex's P.O.V.) 

Suddenly, the phone started ringing, and Luis started to cry.

" I will get it." Miss Cristiano said as she got up and went over to the phone.

I started to hum the song I was singing to him earlier and he stopped crying.

" Hello?" I heard Miss Cristiano ask the person on the other line. 

( Miss Cristiano's P.O.V.)

" Hi," Nina's voice said. " Is Nicolas there with you guys?"

" Yes," I told her. " He's-was that a gunshot?"

" Yea," She said. " Trixi's shooting rubber bullet's at the Anti-Twilight Faction members that are outside."

" Do you need help?" 

" No, we have three high ranked Twilights not counting Trixi here with us, and plus Doctor Theo's pretty skilled as well."

The sound of glass shattering caught my attention.

" Nina?" I asked her.

" Someone just came through the window Trixi was shooting out of, I have to go."

" Nina-"

Before I could finish what I was saying, I was cut off.
