The Order of the Twilights

Act 4- Part 12

( Worick's P.O.V.) 

The room grew quiet. 

" THE HELL DAD!" Natalie exploded. " WHY DID'T YOU TELL US?! 

" I didn't know," I said as I looked at an Upper tablet bottle. " But I started suspecting something was off when I survived a fall from a 3 story window without any fractured bones." 

" Well, Mr. Twilight," Drake started. " Since you found out you're a Big Bad Wolf know, you get to help us take out the garbage." 

" He's not going to be able to be on the front lines," Trixi said from Theo's desk. " Nic said that his end is safe. No signs of any of those Rogue Hunters."  

 " We have to do something," Drake said. " Were sitting duck's." 

" Yea," Lynn said in a sarcastic tone. " That's a great idea. If we go out there with two injured patients, we'll be fine." 

" What the hell crawled up your ass and died?" 

" I'm being logical," Lynn said as she stood up. " We can't go out there. We will be safer if we-" 

" We'll be safer if we move!" Drake boomed. " We can't take on all of these guys. We need more numbers." 

" Why not call the-" Trixi started. 

The power instantly cut out and Nikki started wheezing. 

" Doug is the only one that is safe to move," Theo said as the emergency generators kicked on. " " If you're going to move him, you better do it now." " You should be able to use the sewers as your escape route." 

" Theo-" Lynn began. 

" They will come back. I would rather have you be gone than you be in the ground."  

" I'll go," Trixi said. " I know those sewers like the back of my hand." 

I looked at her. " How the hell  do you know the outline?" 

" Where the hell do yea think that asshole of a commander locked us up when we " misbehaved". She said as she headed upstairs. " How long is it gonna take for you to stick that thing in his chest Doc?" 

" 10 minutes," Theo said as he started to cut Nikki open.  

" I'll be back in 5," I said as I picked up Doug. " Try not to kill the kid while I'm gone." 

" If you think you're going alone-" Drake started before Trixi interrupted. 

" I'm not, yea big bull." She told him as she turned around, exited threw Theo's back door, sat Doug down against the left side of the door frame, and walked over to the sewer cover that was a few yards away " Follow me, this will lead us-" 

Trixi turned around and blocked the attack that was getting ready to kill her.  

" Well, that's disappointing." A woman said. " You were supposed to die."
