loneliness of winter

As each leaf takes it's final journey
As each animal prepares for its long awaited sleep
I like to sit and watch
Seeing everything take their turns to winter.
Saying goodbye to the warmth,
And hello to the cold

Hello to the weird feeling of loinliness during one of the most family oriented time of the year.
Hello to the stress of making family happy
When im not
This season is aleays so cold
Bleak
Sad
Its inevitable to want to just stay in bad wrapped in the false joy of my blanket
Im sitting
Watching as shades of yellow
Red
And brown
Take their final dance to the earth
As the world prepares for
The loneliness of winter
