Mia's Point of View

I was waiting, waiting for that amazing accent to hit my ears. Waiting for those beautiful, baby blue eyes to hit mine again. As he looked stunned for words, I smiled trying to tell him it was okay.

"I'm Colby," He said leaving me in a mystery to what his last name was.

Playing hard to get? I see. Two can play that game. I took his hand into mine and shook it, giving it a little squeeze as he jolted slightly. I laughed and let go of his hand, his lips forming into a smile.

"Thanks for saving my life," I said as his shoulders shrugged.

"Wasn't going to let you die," He said causing a giggle to escape my lips.

Why am I becoming nervous around him? He's so beautiful. I take everything back I've ever said about American's, everything. I can't find anymore words to say. I just want to stare into his eyes for hours. I could, by a beach, with the sunset in the background, all day long. I can do that.

But what's weird, I craved the unexpected. I was feeling it in the pit of my stomach, before we got here. Then, as I was zip-lining, I slipped as I randomly had my clips undone, even though I put them on and made sure I was safe. But this was the universe's way of telling me that the unexpected is right in front of me.

I have fallin' into the unexpected without expecting it while I almost died. I need to thank him but in a way without using words. But he might not even look twice at me. Maybe this is all in my head, maybe I'm making this up and will wake up in the morning. This can't be real.

I looked back into his eyes and noticed his eyes were staring right back at me, blood suddenly rushing straight to my cheeks. No one, and when I say this I mean it, no one has ever made me feel this way. I like it, I love it even. I feel myself for the first time in awhile.

"Well it was really nice meeting you guys," I said as I looked away from him.

They just nodded.

"Want to head down to the beach, or something?" Corey asked.

"Yeah," I nodded,

"I know some mean as beaches."

The four of them looked at each one another furrowing their eyebrows and slightly laughing.

"What's so funny?" I cracked small smile.

"Mean as beaches?" Corey bursted out into laughter.

"Yeah?" I furrowed my eyebrows and looked back at Lia who just shrugged.

"Are they angry or something? Is that why you call them mean?" Sam added.

I looked back at them giggling.

"What are you on about?" I asked.

"What are you on about?" Colby asked.

His accent holy moly.

"Mean as beaches. Some cool beaches we could visit?" I slowly raised an eyebrow; how can they not understand me?

"Wait," Elton swiped his arm in the air,
