"Hmm, it was good but was it good enough?" She says.
"Yes, it was, I think your one of our most talented kids yet, we are so excited to say that you Katherine have been accepted into the school of arts" She says as she claps which turns to everyone clapping. "Thank you so much, and just call me Kate" I say and walk off. Chris and Emily both run up to me and hug me tightly. "You did amazing, I knew you could do it" Emily says. "I know you'll make it too sis" I say back. Mum and dad run over too and hug us all (Family sandwich) and we wait for Emily's turn.
"Emily Johnson, Sorry Emily Lanzon" The lady says. "Good luck, I know your going to kill it" I say. Emily goes onto the stage and gets ready to perform her dance routine she created herself. She dances so swiftly and softly and moves with the music. She dances and gets the moves perfectly. "Thank you, you did very well and I'm happy to inform you that you Emily have been accepted into the school of arts" She says clapping. I clap and cheer really loudly. She walks off the stage and I hug her. "You did so well Emily, I am so proud, and to say that I've watched you grow to love dancing it's been an honor" I say almost about to cry. Group hug (Family Sandwich) yet again occurred and we left to go shopping.
"So new clothes, you all will be given $100 each and you my go buy some clothes for yourselves" Peter tells us. "Oh that's too much we can't take that" I say worried. "No no no" Ingrid says. "You need new clothes and we are your parents now so you are going to go get new clothes" Fixing her eyes back on the road she sighs. "I just want to buy you girls clothes and go shopping with you. I've never had a daughter to do that with" she says sounding sad. "And we have never had a mother to do that with" I say back. She smiles through the rear-view mirror. I smile back feeling welcomed into this family already.
- After Shopping
"Thank you so much for the new clothes guys" I say putting all the bags on the ground. "It's ok, it was so fun though" Ingrid says giggling. I chuckle and take my bags upstairs to unpack them. Getting out my guitar I decide to do a little writing session. "Falling, but you can't catch me" There's a knock at the door. "Yes" I say. Chris walks inside and sits on my bed. "What song?" he asks. "Oh an original" I say. "Can I hear it" he asks. "Maybe when it's finished" I say trying to get him out. He walks out closing the door. A few minutes later there's a knock at the door. "No Chris" Jakob walks in. "Oh sorry I thought you were Chris" I say embarrassed. "It's ok" he smiles brightly. Shit, what is this feeling in my stomach. Ahhh please stop. Oh god do I like Jakob. Nope. No. Please. Ughhh. He's my brothers friend. Ok just stop Kate. Shake it off I say to myself. "So what's up?" Trying to find out what Jakob wants. "Can I ask you something? Like girl advice?" He asks. "Uh sure" I say. "Well I kind of like this girl but I don't think she likes me and I want to tell her but I don't know how to" he pushes a strand of his hair back. "Well if you like her and even if you don't know if she likes you back, you should tell her" "Ok, I like you" he says. I smile "yeah like that". "No Kate I like you" he says leaning in. Feeling an instant spark I lean in and we connect lips. "I like you too Jakob, for a while now"
"Want to watch a movie?" I ask. "Sure" so I put on a comedy movie. We lay back on my bed and enjoy it. Throughout the movie I could feel Jakob moving towards me. I roll over so I'm now cuddled up into his torso. He smiles and kisses the top of my head. Slowly I drift to sleep.

Waking up I find myself in the arms of no other than Jakob. "Hey beautiful" he says to me. I blush. "Morning" I say back. Still cuddled up together I lay my head back on his bare chest. "We should probably get up now" "No five more minutes" he says rolling over pulling me with him. "Jakob we have school soon" I say trying to get out of his grip. He groans and gets up.
