Chapter 12: Some things revealed

~Mova's P.O.V.~
     "Who... what are you guys?!" I look at them one by one...

     They're... Creatures!

     Eliza looks at me confused, "what do you mean?"

     "What do you mean what do I mean?! You have fucking angel wings for damn sake!"

     She takes a step back, shocked.

     I stand up and look at Anna. "And you. You have ears and a tail like some... black wolf. And Dean's eyes are pitch black and has frickin' horns and wings! And, and, and the rest of you..." I turn to Daniel. His eyes are a deep shade of crimson and has some type of dark aura around him. Something that completely off topic for a minute.

     He looked at me, concerned and a bit annoyed. "We're what, Movitaka? Just say it."

     That's when I saw his fangs. And I knew what to say.

     "Y'all are fucking vampires!!!" I yell.

     I back away slowly. I couldn't believe my eyes. All this time, I was living among those that aren't human. But something isn't right. Why now? I turn around and see myself in the mirror and stare.

     If I had done a quick glance, I would have looked normal. But I had to actually look at myself to see what I truly looked like.

     My eyes were glowing red and my skin looks paler than usual. But what freaked me out most was the dark purple aura around me. The energy is so confusing between positive and negative and surrounds me almost completely. And for one second... I thought I saw my reflection smirk at me.

     I stumble back, starting to panic, I look at everyone and couldn't breathe. I felt a hand softly placed on my shoulder.

     "Calm down, Mova... What you are seeing is a power you manifest..." My mother said as softly and calming as can be. "... It's called inner soul vision."

     "Wh-what?" I said confused.

     "This power let's you see the true form of other beings. But after a while of using it, it will start to show things that aren't supposed to be there."

     "How do I... How do I make it stop?"

     "Close your eyes." I heard Daniel say from behind me, his voice calm and instructive. "Close them and focus on only seeing the human form. Imagine the inner world of souls fading into the real world of mortal beings."

     I relax and close my eyes. I imagine my original reflection in the mirror. I imagine no auras around people, I imagine the whole world was back to normal.

     "Open your eyes."

     I open my eyes. Everything looks normal like before. So did the people in the room. I look at myself in the mirror and let out a breath of relief. I look like myself again.

     But that still raised questions.

     Everyone looks awkward as I turn to them.

     "I'm.... Guessing you want an explanation." Dean said, breaking the silence.

     "Well no shit, Sherlock!"

     We were all sat around the living room. Ms. Dragimir comes in with some refreshments. She sets down the tray and sits down.

     "So... Where do we start?"

     "Hmm... how about the fact that all of you aren't human."

     "Um well... Long story short-"

     "The long story would be good." I said, interrupting Daniel.

     "... the long story long is that... we're not from around here. We live in a place hidden from the human world."

     "And what's it called? Narnia?" I roll my eyes.

     "It's called Eleternia." Dean says, glaring at me. "It's basically a dimension full of people like us, along with some humans."

     "And at the heart of Eleternia," Mom- er...Regina adds as she brings a map to the table and points to the center. "is where you were born."

     I look at the map. "Vampira?"

     Regina nods. "Named after your mother, Queen Vampira Akiakurohive."

     "Queen?! You mean I'm a princess?!"

     Everyone nods. I look around at everyone, then laugh.

     "Okay guys, that was a funny trick you guys pulled. Trying to prank the birthday girl! Haha...ha..." I pause, waiting for them to laugh or say something. They said nothing. I look down. "...You guys are serious... Aren't you?"

     Once again, they nod.

     "Then what the actual hell?!" I yell, standing up.

     Dean tries to pull me back down. "Mova, please calm dow-"

     "No! I can't believe you guys lied to me all these years!"

     "You're overreacting, Movitaka." Daniel said sternly.

     "Oh, so you call this 'overreacting'? I call this realizing that my whole life has been a lie and that Regina isn't my real mother or that Dean isn't my real brother. Let alone, finding out I'm fucking royalty!"

     I turn to Regina. "Why am I still here, anyways? Why was I taken from my home?"

     The room was silent for a moment. Then Ms. Maria spoke.

     "...if Regina didn't escape with you, you would've been taken and killed... We needed to protect you from him."

     "...Who?"

     "... Dominous."

Guys... I've decided not to give up. I must remember not to give up because of others saying to stop dreaming. I need to prove that I can make it in this world and I will leave a mark on this place when I die. I'm 16 today. Meaning a new goal. I'm going to reach it no matter what.
